Good Friday ~ Clouds ~ Eaglets ~ Bachelor's Fridge ~ Army Day

Good 35ยบ foggy morning. Only 6/100ths of an inch of rain yesterday. Summit has cleared off...

Snow on my mountain yesterday .........

Nothing down here though.

I forgot to mention that the other day I called, finally, the phone guy in our area, Bob, and asked him about my wifi. I have not been able to connect with either of my laptops for a long time. Password didn't work. He called me back and said he'd be up here in a bit. In an hour he was here, fixed the wifi, and was gone. Who was that masked man? Anyway, fast efficient service that I'm sure most of you don't have a clue about from your phone company people! Amazing.

Look, the Iowa eagles have 3 eaglets....

And.... here's papa....

And you are a Democrat, right? And you think the Republicans are liars, right? Bush was bad and BO is good? And you don't think the Democrats, Idiot President, and/or the media don't twist things around? Oh my. You have been brainwashed, big time! Get informed, watch this:

Interesting clouds yesterday afternoon.... then the hail came down!

Watching the news later, the weatherman Kevin Lawless, said it was "scrapple", which is the weirdest thing. Scrapple is a pork dish.... made with cooking pork sausage, adding condensed milk, cornmeal and pepper. Put into loaf pan, refrigerate over night, slice and fry for breakfast. Comes from the Dutch in Pennsylvania. Don't know where Kevin came up with that technical "weather term"!

Thought this funny. Some of you guys can relate to refrigerators owned by single men....

Army Day - GO ARMY!

The United States Army is the main branch of the United States Armed Forces responsible for land-based military operations. It is the largest and oldest established branch of the U.S. military, and is one of seven U.S. uniformed services. The modern Army has its roots in the Continental Army which was formed on 14 June 1775, before the establishment of the United States, to meet the demands of the American Revolutionary War. The Congress of the Confederation officially created the United States Army on 3 June 1784 after the end of the Revolutionary War to replace the disbanded Continental Army. The Army considers itself to be descended from the Continental Army and thus dates its inception from the origins of that force.
