Egg-Tastic Again! ~ Bruiser ~ Deer/Turkeys ~ Sedona ~ Chicken/Veggies Garlic Sauce ~ Tipsy Wine ~ GPS on Cats

Good 40º scattered cloudy morning. The prediction is for "partially cloudy" today. Some scattered radar, but not much. Will warm up today.

Wow, cool weather continued. Yesterday it didn't even warm up to 60º by noon! Was wearing sweats all day. Burrrrrrr... By 1pm it had warmed to 68º. Nice! At 3:30 it was a perfect 77º with windows open and only 71º inside!

You already know how addicted I am to the Egg-Tastic

so, breakfast yesterday was plain Greek yogurt, a medley of my re-hydrated veggies, and a 46 second scrambled egg. All topped with J&D's Applewood Bacon Salt (all natural ingredients... low in sodium) (I know. Sounds weird, but really good!)

or can be purchased from Amazon, Fred Meyers, Albertsons) They also have Baconaise! OMGOOOD! Bacon flavored mayonnaise.

As I was sending my morning 'drivel' the Bruise decided to lay on my arm. He gets very comfy and I have to type with one hand! When I was finished with the blog I went to Youtube and found a cat/dog video ... he was hypnotized by it!

This video is hilarious... "Cats being jerks"... Only two people used bad language in this. Of course if you got blind-sided by cat claws, you might say a cuss word or two also!

Way down in the pasture yesterday was the momma doe and a momma turkey and her children...

I have not seen the triplet deer babies in a while and now worried about them! In a bit she came up to the yard and was munching grape leaves...

Then she went into the backyard and laid down in the shade on the grass.

Lunch... seaweed rice cakes with Costco's deli guacamolé and some cheddar cheese, and mozzarella sticks.

Today my Italian son Alex Corsaro  is celebrating his baby daughter's birthday. Sedona is 17. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SEDONA!
A real beauty! I know you are so proud of her Alex!

Ok, so in the small Crock*Pot went the two boneless skinless chicken thighs and Trader Joe's Many Garlic Cooking Sauce. Cooked on low for about 4 hours. Then I cut up a cabbage....
Put that in the pot, poured some more garlic sauce over it, added carrots and the rest of the garlic sauce.
Another 3-4 hours on low. By then the chicken thighs for Dude in the casserole Crock*Pot were done, so I took them out and the chicken stock and put the above into the casserole cooker. That one has a "warm" setting, until I was ready to eat.

Tried out my new "tipsy" wine glass with some San Antonio (California)  Winery Chianti. So good! Glass is fun!

Then it was time for dinner ... a little tomato and avocado to join the chicken, carrots, and cabbage. OMGOOOOOOD!

Chair time and some solitaire on my iPad and Blue Bloods and a show on Southern Oregon Public TV about 100 cats in England that were fitted with GPS collars and cameras. Scientists followed their daily and evening outings in the neighborhood for 6 24 hour periods. Interesting. Most of the cats in the neighborhood had a cat door and could come and go as they pleased. Most stayed within the boundaries of their owner's property, some ventured to other cat's areas and they screamed and hissed at each other and the intruder ran back to his home!

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Sunday. Ciao.
