2 Funny Videos ~ Turkey in Gravy with Veggies ~ 99 Guacamole Recipes

Good 39ยบ cloudy morning.
"Weather" may be coming... Snow? Friday? Hmmm.....

Yesterday it just stayed cloudy and cool....

I worked on a scrapbook yesterday. I had made plans early in August of 2006 to take a cruise from San Francisco to Vancouver with stops at Astoria, Seattle, Nanaimo, Victoria, and Vancouver. Jerry was not interested and neither was Joan's husband, so we booked the trip for the two of us. Jerry died in February of 2007, but I took the trip anyway that May and it seemed to get me out of the 'funk'. We did have a good time ... and lots of pictures. Walking around Seattle was the most fun and the Pike Place Market is awesome along with the Space Needle and dining up there! The Butchart Gardens and the Empress Hotel. All beautiful. So, putting that book together, finally. A project!

This sent to me by my friend Ike Saben... just got a good laugh... You will too.

And if that wasn't enough... you have to see this video Rod Johnson sent me... if you raised a boy(s) or were one, you will appreciate this all the more....

So.... dinner....
I heated some turkey gravy, added cubed Yukon gold potatoes (unpeeled) and cooked until tender. Then added in red bell pepper, broccoli, green beans, and canned sliced mushrooms. I cut into bite sized pieces some of my smoked turkey breast and added that. When done I sprinkled on a little grated cheese. Awesome!

Today is a special birthday, my high school friend, Annalee (Carlin) Fortini.

(Her picture was in the center of the annual and wouldn't flatten out!) Anne was my maid-of-honor way back in 1965 (married George Pendleton) and I was in her wedding in 1968. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANNALEE!
I hope you have a wonderful day! Here is the website of their company Fortini Home Garden Design ...
You will find pictures of Anne and Led and their family. Great site, Anne!! Boy, are you in an interesting birthday group today!
