Ice ~ Milo's ~ Colts vs Patriots Game ~ Gazpacho

Good 20º morning. "Burrrrrr" doesn't even come close to covering it! Everything was frozen... trees, grass, bushes, hummingbird feeder. And of course I had to leave and go to Milo's to have the mud flaps put on my truck. Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....I should know better than to make early appointments in the winter!!!

Milo was fast and I was out of there in 30 minutes. Stopped at the PO and Ace for corn and dog food. I got a bunch of samples of dog food to try out on Maggie. This was my view at Milo's from the chair I waited in....

Today will be a copy of yesterday .... clear skies and a few low hanging clouds hugging the mountain....

I forgot to mention yesterday about Sunday Football.. wow, Dolphins won, Jets won, Patriots won, Giants lost ha ha ha. Alas, Brian's Colts were defeated by my Patriots, but my gosh, they had 24 points! Amazing. It's been a tough season for Payton to sit on the sidelines and watch his team lose 12. On the other hand, the Packers are up 12. Aaron Rogers is awesome. (Ha. So there, Favre!) And an interesting side to the Patriots/Colts game.... I'm impressed, but then I had a feeling that Manning and Brady respected and liked each other! They are both nice and decent guys.

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Colts quarterback Peyton Manning opened some eyes when he spent time before today's game signing autographs for fans inside Gillette Stadium.
A Manning autograph for a Patriots fan?

"I've done it every place. I've kind of used this year for a couple things that I've never been able to do -- one of them is to sign a lot of autographs before the game on the road and at home in Indy. It's good, interaction with the fans," Manning said after the Patriots' 31-24 win.

"Arguably being our biggest rival, the fans here couldn't have been nicer. Many of them told me, 'Hope you get back soon' and 'Sorry you're not out there playing today.' Certainly you enjoy hearing that from your own fans, and I know how sincere they are. Then from the biggest rival fans, some of the same fans when I'm playing I'm sure I've heard them through the years making it tough on the opposing quarterback, it's very classy. I was appreciative of it."

As Manning was in the middle of his remarks, he was interrupted by quarterback Tom Brady, who was leaving the game with his wife.

Brady and Manning shared an embrace, then took the next few minutes to catch up.
