Good 51º clear morning.
First thing let me say that the picture of 'Muchhell' and her daughters 'supposedly' taken at the Olympics was actually taken when she and her daughters went to So. Africa. Sorry about that.

At our LE/Fire luncheon yesterday we had a speaker.... local "poleeece" detective, Archie. He said he heard our group was so rowdy that he brought his bullet proof vest! LOL. Nice man, former Marine, enlisting help from the older experienced lawmen in our group to help out with suggestions for implementing funded programs for the county in regards to law enforcement and protection. This is something my Brian is involved with. The county is underfunded ... with the lottery money going to Salem and the forest monies going to the Feds. The tax levy failed on the ballot. People don't want to give up an extra cent, so in the meantime there is no law enforcement to respond to crimes in progress (with a total of 3 deputies for the whole county and state troopers won't respond!) and when a criminal is caught they are cited and released because there is no funding to maintain the jails! Scary.
Yesterday after the LE/Fire luncheon I picked up Maggie from the vets. She is doing GREAT! More coagulated blood and tissue was flushed out of her nose and she's stopped the bleeding and is breathing fine. The tumor on her buttinski was removed and stitched up. Biopsy went off to be analyzed. They even gave her a bath! Yeah~! She is happy to be home and is eating and sleeping perfect. Thanks to all of you for your concern. xo It's so nice to have my TV working good again and my dog laying on the floor by my chair!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Thursday. Ciao.

National Coffee Ice Cream Day
I remember when I was young we'd spoon coffee over our vanilla ice cream. Boy howdy, good! And later on...Kahlua!
