Ice ~ Turkey Soup Done! ~ Pie Day

Good 32ยบ ice on barn roof morning.

Ok, kids. It's officially DECEMBER! Sigh......

Jerry and I bought this house on this date in 1997. Wow.

And email from Edda in Diamond Bar said they had 50mph winds at 2am. White caps on her pool! Yikes!

This from Jim Harper (Wilsonite) ... good one Jim!
From a cop's perspective.... works for me too!

Yesterday I worked on some of my Christmas projects ... cards, calendars, picture books. I also cooked the turkey carcass and made soup....

Many mushrooms, lots of turkey, wild rice, tomatoes, broccoli, onion, yam, garlic, and mini ravioli and tortellini. OMG it is GOOD! I will doctor and change individual bowls of this by other additions as the week goes along....

It turned out to be a really pretty day....
