Poor man! What a horrible name to be stuck with!
Then to top it off he went to "Lucy Laney High School" in Augusta Georgia! Now, Lucy Laney was the daughter of a freed slave. My grandparents had slaves, who later became free, and most took the family name of Laney, and a lot of them stayed on the farm and worked for my grandparents. Interesting.

The 'porch party' yesterday for PJ's birthday was great. I told her I was glad she had a birthday so we had an excuse to par-tay! 14 of us stuck out the heat and enjoyed some awesome food

... PJ/Dave, Deb/Tom, PatC/Tim, Barb, Dee/Dale, Joe, Candy/Bob, Mike (PJ's sister), Baron (Bob/Candy's Brittany), Maggie and Harley.... We were missing Joann (in CA visiting her daughter), Jeannie/Bill (fixing AC on motorhome and leaving town today), Pam (working), Frank/Cindy (unk excuse!!!)

All I know. Nuff said. HAPPY 4th of JULY! I will be watching The Capitol 4th, Macy's Fireworks, and the Boston Pops.
