Patriotic Video ~ Skin Doc ~ 2013 Bucket List ~ Vegetable Soup

Good 57º rainy drizzly morning. Isn't supposed to last. 100º predicted for Friday and Saturday. Swell, it's the Rooster Crow Parade. Gonna melt.

This video is awesome.... sent by Ann Ramirez (LASD ret). Thanks Ann!
Patriotic and moving. Keep your Kleenex close by!
Wow, Marines in dress uniforms. HOT LAVA~!!!!

Went to GP yesterday. Skin doc froze a place on my hand. Just a little scaly spot. Everything else is good. Saw Brian. Dropped off the USMC hat from Gator. Brian was pleased and said "Thank you, Gator! Semper fi." Hardware store, Staples for printer ink, post office, and home. Finally heard from Linda and Andy. They were taking the back roads from Ashland to Jacksonville and then to Grants Pass, so I missed out on seeing them. Dinner for them was with the car club at some "shop" for a barbecue. Maybe see them on the return trip. I made her promise to take pictures!

Yesterday I made soup. About once a week I cook a bunch of chicken thighs in the crockpot for Maggie. I add in chicken stock. I had a quart of the stock saved from last week and just added it to this week's. Then I threw in baby carrots, broccoli, sweet peppers, about 25 garlic cloves (2 heads), wild and brown rice, canned diced tomatoes (juice and all), and some cream of chicken soup (to thicken). Cooked on low for 5 hours. YUMMMMMMM!

All I know. Happy Hump Day. Nuff said. Ciao.
