Yesterday my Omaha Steaks order arrived. They had a sale and everything was 50% off and free shipping. I got the lemon dill salmon filets:

the sole Almondine:

and the stuffed sole with shrimp and crabmeat:

Been making this for YEARS~ always a favorite, especially at Thanksgiving.... will go perfect with the crockpot turkey breast I put on the blog (http://oregonsue.blogspot.com/2017/10/burrrrrr-clouds-woodpeckers-bruiser.html)
Mother's Biscuits:

Ingredients:
2 cans refrigerated flaky buttermilk biscuits (Pillsbury Grands)
1 cube melted butter
Bundt pan
Heat oven to 350º. Stand biscuits up on their sides and fill the bundt pan. Pour melted butter over all. Bake until golden brown on the top. Turn pan over onto plate and serve.
Here they are on the Thanksgiving table...

On the news was the Guinness World Record holder for the longest tongue! This is a St. Bernard in So. Dakota. Tongue is 7.5" long!

His owner said the only problem with it, is that he is a messy drooler!

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Saturday. Ciao.

National Frappe Day

Today is National Frappe Day! The frappe is a chilled foam-covered coffee drink that originated in Greece in the 1950s. Today, there are many different variations of this refreshing beverage. In the United States, frappes are usually made with coffee, milk, ice, vanilla ice cream, and sugar combined in a blender.
