Earthquake ~ Patterson ~ Big Al ~ Turkeys

Good 35ยบ foggy full moon morning. The prediction was for temps in the teens, but that didn't happen. Ahhhh...weather predictors!

Kristen wrote that her sleep was interrupted by an earthquake.
Apparently it was centered in the Fontana area. A 4.4 about 1:30 in the morning at a depth of 3¼ miles.

So, a full moon and an earthquake.... great intro to Bill (LASD ret Homicide Sgt) Patterson's birthday!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BILLY!!!! Get well .... we'll party!!!

Today is also Deputy "Big Al" Rodriguez's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AL!! Al and I in 2007 when he stopped by on his way hunting in Montana.... or somewhere like that! It was just after Jerry died and he wanted to stop and give me a hug! Al worked at ELA when I was there. My buddy!

Yesterday I took Bruiser and Dude to the vet's for shots. I figured after stuffing the Bruise in a cat cage and the trip in the car, the temperature taken, shots given he'd be really pissed at me. Not. He just was as loving and clingy as ever!

Dude was happy to see so many people in the waiting room and everyone wanted to pet him. Even his "dad" UPS Dave came by and said hello!! Tail wagging... "oh look, it's my dad!"

Came home and I went back to town to see if there was a package at the post office. YES!!! It was the Windows start up disc. Took that to Turk. Hopefully soon the computer will be fixed. It won't have anything in it but Windows so I will have to do a lot of downloading and reinsertion of files.

I heard something on the roof..... figured it was turkeys since the flock was in the front yard. I went upstairs and got this shot out the window. Silly birds!!!
