Radar ~ Same Photos ~ Dude ~ Dog Ramp ~ Cargo Cover ~ Dancing Horse ~ Lovella Moore ~ Mulled Cider

Good 42ยบ clear sunny morning. OMGOSH, can you believe it, tomorrow is October!!!

I am disappointed... we were supposed to get rain but all the radar is other places!

That picture I posted yesterday of the sunrise I sent to the local KOBI TV and I almost fell over, someone else had posted almost the EXACT same photo! My photo:

..... and the one by a Paul Young:

Neither of them made the news!

Yesterday afternoon Dr. Fugazzi called to tell me Dude did really well with his surgery. He can come home today.

I spent yesterday afternoon finding him a ramp to get in and out of the car

and Brian installed a cargo cover in my car for Dude...

I had called Petco the on Thursday to see if they had ramps. The guy that answered said, "oh yes we do". So when I stopped in there yesterday the lady said, "No, we don't carry them". Swell. So I came back to Rogue River and went into the new Red Dog Pet Supplies store and they had one! They guy, Tony, showed me how to work it and put it in the car for me. Nice.

I'm sure many of you have probably seen this, but if you aren't on FB you haven't....SUPER horse!!! AMAZING!!!

Special birthday today.... Lovella Moore, aka Love. HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOVE!!!

We had all of 12 drops of rain yesterday. At 4:30 in the afternoon the clouds were thick and heavy, but no more rain...

I am always lonesome here, missing Jerry, but with Dude not here...OMGOSH! And Bruiser was glued to me! He didn't want to lay on Dude's couch, all he wanted was my lap. I guess he's confused as to where Dude is. We'll get back to "normal" later.

Ok, enough for now. Didn't have dinner last night so going to fix breakfast and get ready to get Dude!

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Saturday. Ciao.

National Hot Mulled Cider Day

Today is National Hot Mulled Cider Day! Hot mulled cider is a delicious drink perfectly suited for crisp September afternoons. Apple cider is produced using a cider press and is a time-honored favorite of the autumn season.
To make mulled cider, slowly add brown sugar to apple cider in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir until all the sugar has dissolved. Add other ingredients such as nutmeg, allspice, orange juice, and lemon juice, and bring to a boil. Strain out the spices, pour into a mug, and add a cinnamon stick.
Enjoy National Hot Mulled Cider Day as you sip on your homemade brew!
No thanks, I'll stick with my chardonay nay!

Dude ~ So Or Veterinary Surgery Center ~ Morning Sky ~ Fav Budweiser Commercial ~ Venice Italy ~ Hugh Hefner ~ National Coffee Day

Good very cloudy morning. It's 54ยบ now and at 8am we got 6 raindrops! Hope for more.

Little late today as I had to have Dude at the Southern Oregon Veterinary Surgery Center
at 7am.

Here was the sky at 7am ...

He will have his leg surgery today for a torn ligament and hopefully can come home tomorrow. It will be a 2+ week recovery. No running, not much walking, no jumping onto the bed, couch, or into the car. I have to get a ramp from Petco so he can walk up into and out of the car. He's big and heavy and I can't lift him!

Cute paintings on the wall inside the center....

Yesterday we went for his consultation with Dr. Russ Fugazzi

He is so nice. Got his degree at Texas A&M.

Dude has been on Meloxicam for the pain and a friend (don't worry I won't give your name!) said he is on Meloxicam too and didn't know it was for dogs. He said, "no wonder I wan to pee on every fire hydrant I see"!!! LOL! I took this picture just for you dear friend! It was out in front of the surgery center...

This is my favorite Budweiser commercial of all time. It was first shown in 2014. Always gets me all happy teary!

This is my current desktop wallpaper... Wouldn't it be fun to go to Venice Italy!
... and I like this one too!
