Gloom ~ Cat Purse ~ Slow Cooker Chicken Dinner ~ Presidential Immigration Laws ~ Molasses Bars

Good 40ยบ cloudy morning. We had another severe weather warning yesterday and I thought for sure we'd see snow again this morning, but no. We did get 1/2" of rain though.

Yesterday the sun came out a bit and more drizzle...and then stayed gloomy and snow melted.

I saw this "purse" and HAD to buy it. Looks like my Bruiser AND it holds a 3 liter box of wine!!!!!!

Here is a super easy (prep time 5 minutes) Chicken Dinner...

Ingredients:
6-10 red potatoes, halved if large
1 small bag baby carrots (or used the "mixed" veggies with broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots)
2 sweet onions, quartered
1/2 cup Sherry or broth (chicken broth!)
Salt, Pepper, Poultry Seasoning to taste
3½ pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs
Dried or fresh Rosemary of thyme
1. Layer veggies on the bottom of your slow cooker.
2.  Season with salt and pepper
3. Pour in Sherry or broth
4. Layer chicken on top and season with poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper
5. Top with sprigs of Rosemary or thyme or sprinkle on dried herb
6. Cook on low for 8 hours.

To those liberals who voices hate for President Trump, among other things, but because of his immigration law, then watch this:

Isn't the truth shocking!!!!

Later dinner was a can of salmon mixed with garlic mayo, put on bread with a stack of lettuce! Then chair, wine, and Chicago Fire and Blue Bloods.

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Hump Day. Ciao.
