TOO Much Rain ~ Funny Dog ~ Funny Seal ~ Deer Turkeys & Geese

Good 46ยบ POURING rain morning. 1/4" an hour. WINDY. Rain all over windows. T-storms possible. Electricity flashed off and then back on. Crazy.

OK, here's my first attempt at 'stacking' photos.... Need more practice, obviously, but here is the rain gauge left to right...
7am 3-30, 3pm 3-30, and 7am 3-31

.... and it was still pretty dark and the elk were up in the pasture at the top of the hill...

Now I know most everyone loves dogs. This golden is watching Marmaduke on TV. OMG. Just tooooooooooooo cute!

And... this is a neat story...

Some time ago Panchita was caught up in a net, which left deep cuts all over her body. She managed to make it to this hotel where animal advocates nursed her back to health for 3 months. Every day she returns to rest after being out to sea. She is now pregnant and expecting within a month.

Yesterday, other than the rain pouring down all day I was watching some of the critters. 4 deer were munching grass in the upper pasture. One of the fawns has this fur missing all over his side... :o(

This made me laugh.... turkeys playing chase around a bush...

They would have kept up the game but they saw me and stopped.

The geese were close by, standing out in the front yard ...

While their child from last year played in the creek...

And the creek overflowed it banks, blocking off the foot path to the barn....
