Speaking of football....

Dinner was snacks... celery sticks, cream cheese. Not hungry. Chair, TV (Hallmark movie "I do I do I do") and wine.

Yesterday afternoon on the news was "flooding in Temple City" !!! There were a couple streets with a foot of water it was related. Wow. Lots of downpour all over California.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Tuesday. Ciao.

October 6th
National Noodle Day
NOODLES From the German word “nudel” meaningpaste with egg. In America, the term refers to egg noodles as well as Asian forms of pasta. Noodles can be made of wheat,  rice, soybean, potato, or other flours like oat; sweet potato or arrowroot starch; bean curd skin and tofu; and mung bean threads. Italian pasta (the word means “paste,” referring to the paste of flour and water from which it is made) is always made from durum wheat flour. Dumplings, including Polish pierogi and Italian gnocchi, and German spaetzle, are also considered forms of pasta.

And.... it's National Physician's Assistant Day

National Physician's Assistant Day celebrates and recognizes the importance and skills of this career. The highly trained Physician's Assistant is an invaluable aide to physicians and general practitioners.
The profession of Physician's Assistant was created in 1965 by Dr. Eugene Stead at Duke Medical Center. The first physician assistants graduated from Duke University on October 6, 1967. Since then, this job has grown to tens of thousands of people.
If you see your Physician's Assistant today, wish him or her a happy day. And, let them know they are appreciated.
