Rain? ~ Bruiser & My iPad ~ Sunday Football Schedule ~ Rand Craig ~ TV Shows ~ Cherries Jubilee

Good 55º looks like rain, smells like rain morning. BUT.... the weather people said it will be "much warmer" today than yesterday.

Yesterday about 10:20 we got 12 or 6 drops of rain. Lasted for less than 20 minutes. Ground did show signs of dampness, but not much! Temperature stayed about 55º all day. Shoot, I had to turn on the heater!!!

I was sitting in my chair after dinner watching TV. I was also playing solitaire on my iPad. Bruiser climbed on my lap, leaned on the arm where the iPad was and was watching the game I was playing.

So I went to youtube and found a video that cats will go nuts for:
Here is a 47 second video of Bruiser watching the video... and when the birds chirped he looked around the room to see if they were inside!

If you have cats or a cat... click the first link and set your paw pal(s) in front of the screen!

Here are the NFL games tomorrow:

Sadly, unexpectedly, Rand Craig who worked at Ace in Rogue River passed away yesterday. He was only 59 years old. Cause of death is not known yet. Rand was a super nice guy and friendly! He and Nancy's hubby, Dave Perry, were pals and went fishing a lot. RIP Rand. You will be missed!!!

Later it was chair, wine, and new episodes of Chicago Med and Fire. Watched some of the new show MacGyver http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1399045/ starring a baby, 28 year old Lucas Till:
Will watch it again before I decide if I like it or not, as the original MacGyver from 1985-1992 was a favorite of mine.

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Saturday. Ciao.

National Cherries Jubilee Day

National Cherries Jubilee Day will make cherry lovers jubilant. If you enjoy cherries, you must absolutely love this day.
Cherries Jubilee is easy to make. All you need is a can of cherry pie filling, some cognac (or brandy) and vanilla ice cream.
Here is a quick simple recipe:
I don't like Paula Deen, but this is the easy way and you can use canned cherry pie filling instead of cooking some....
