Good 35º cloudy morning.
As I posted about turkey lettuce wraps yesterday I had to have some for
breakfast! Turkey lettuce wrap, avocado half, hard-boiled egg... all sprinkled
with bacon salt, and some fresh mozzarella bites! YUMMMMMM!!!
Today is special in a big way, my dear friends Patty and Cliff Kuehl are
celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY KIDS!!!
♥♥ Love you guys!!! ♥♥
Today is also friend Pat Tracy's birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAT!! She is off
across the country visiting with her son so she won't see this. I'll call her
when she gets home!
Yesterday on the So. Cal news they talked about El Niño
hitting hard in California this weekend! Also about 3 feet of snow is expected at
Tahoe! Hey, Jimmy and Mel, are you ready for more???
Dinner was something new-ish. I got some miso, freeze-dried all natural,
and decided on miso soup.
So ........... I brought to a boil 4 cups of water, added in the snipped
fresh chives, 4 T of the green dehydrated peas and 4 T of the vegetable soup
mix, and one egg, stirring it all well, then let it sit and low simmer for an
hour. Then I added in 8 t. of the miso powder. OMGOOOODNESS, sooooo good!!! It
didn't need any seasonings or salt.
I got the miso powder from here:

Yesterday afternoon after chores here I went to Grants Pass. Stopping at
Brian's office to pick up an atomic clock he fixed for me, take Emily the People
Magazines, and then to Safeway for groceries.
Bought out the produce section and got some soba noodles and crab to make a
stir-fry, with lots of veggies too!
Later I had the miso soup, chair, wine, TV.... and dang, another
zzzzzzzzzz. Missed half the show I was watching. Oh well, there is always

All I know. Nuff said. Happy TGIF. Ciao.

HUG A GI Day
Today is a day that we all can embrace. It's "Hug a GI Day". Give a great
big hug to any and all GIs you see today. The men and women in our armed forces
deserve our thanks and appreciation.
GI's perform an invaluable service to our country. They risk their lives
for our freedom, and to keep us safe. A simple hug is a small thanks for this
vital service to our
country.

mmmmm Your soup looks good as well as your lettuce wrapped breakfast.
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS PATTY AND CLIFF!! How great is that!
I am forever falling asleep in front of the TV. Many times I don't even know I am sleepy until I wake up and find my show is over! lol Old age, I guess! :(
Eagerly awaiting that rain we are getting. Drat and I filled up the pool yesterday!
WHAT must Hil liar y supporters be thinking? My guess is most don't know nor care about what an evil bitch she was when Arkansas's first lady and in the White House. Low information voters! :(
XO Trisha
I don't know about napping in front of the TV being just old age, I know plenty of young folks who do the same thing!!! LOL. Yes, Hill-liary is over the top bad and people don't even remember all the things she stole from the White House when she and that idiot husband of hers left. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr..............
xo
GOOD morning. I hope someone tells the GI's that this is Hug a GI Day or there might be some confusion about all these people rushing them):- Or in the old folks place- if someone decides GI tract is the topic... not going there.
Happy Anniversary to Cliff and Pat. By God's grace, we'll get to that milestone.
This is setting up to be the year of political "I don't care" and obsessive devotion. Not just among Hillary supporters. If Hillary is indicted and is pulled out, the dynamics of the race flip, and I'm not sure her opponents are less prepared for that than her supporters.
Perhaps last night's debate on our side will be the line in the sand. Trump has said, repeatedly, he could kill someone and his supporters would stay with him. It is a shame if he's right. Its not good for a man's character to think he can do no wrong, because they are the types who tend to rack up wrongs and feel no guilt.
Yes, Patty and Cliff's 65 years together is awesome! xox
