Good 49º drizzling morning. It started raining hard about 3:30am. So far
we've gotten 1/2".
Yesterday stayed cloudy and cool. I had a back therapy, so that was nice.
Prior to Stacy working on my back I was chatting with a gentleman in the lobby.
He had just done some work for Kim Novak. She has a place up here in Sam's
Valley, which is about 16 miles NE of me. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kim_Novak )
and she's married to a doctor, a retired vet.
He said she's just as beautiful as ever. We also talked about Tom Selleck
having a place up here close to Wimer and that Clint Eastwood lived in Medford
and worked in a sawmill at one time.
A lady also came in that was chatty and we talked about her time working
for the Wimer Fire Department. She knew RR Fire Chief Mike Hannan back then. I
told her I'd pass along her hellos to him.
Then to the post office to pick up a package. My St. Patrick's Day
shirt....
Being of Irish heritage on my Dad's side (a Laney River in Ireland even!)
And Scottish on my Mother's side (family name of Dunbar... like the castle!) and
of course Jerry was half Scottish and half Cherokee. Now you understand!

Dinner was a "concoction" I made up..
With a little olive oil in the pan and some water, I steamed broccoli,
cauliflower, and zucchini.... When the water evaporated I sauteéd them adding in
some shallots and some roasted garlic salt...
I cooked the pasta in garlicky salted water...
I added the grilled chicken strips to the veggies in the pan...
Into the pan went the pasta and a jar of spinach dip....
Mixed it all up and heated well. OMGOOOOOOD! Heaven!!
About then the sun was setting...
Chair, wine, TV... Blue Bloods. A chat with pals Linda and Jennifer and
Mike.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Saturday. Ciao.

GOOD morning. I'm not suprised that lots of good people either have lived, are living or will live in your area.
I haven't had much luck with whole wheat pasta. Will have to try the brand in the picture.
My ancestry is half crazy. Some all the way crazy. That probably explains me.
I think it's amazing the number of the super rich/famous move here, but then it's a friendly place! And yes, L, that penne is really good... with whatever sauce you use.. Alfredo, marinara, or make something our of something else like I did!! Hey, and "crazy" does run in families.... got some in my own! xoxoxo
