Good 44º drizzling morning. Rained in the night. Got 1/2".
Lazy me... didn't get up til 8am!!!!
Yesterday morning the rain came and went. More was predicted for evening.
This was 11am:
The sun was actually out for a while and Dude took advantage of it. He
gives me "the look" when there is sun outside because he wants to go out... one
of his fav things... laying in the sun on the porch!
I had my yearly appointment with my Rehumatologist in Medford... Dr.
Theerapol Prasertsuntarasai .... and no, I can't say his name so I call him Dr.
T! Super nice man, Thai, and a good doc. His education was at Chulalongkorn
University in Thailand, University of Hawaii for residency, and fellowship at
University of Oklahoma. Anyway...... said I'm good.
This from pal Ike Saben (LASD ret).... YES! I agree they should!!!
One of them is sheltered in the White House for the next year!!!
Came home, poured a wine, and sat in my electric blanket. Ahhhhh..... No I
didn't watch OVamit and his BS boring speech. Well, Trump said it was boring,
and I agree it probably was. Always his speeches are!
Talking about cheesy....................................
How about something yummy...
BLUE CHEESE BISCUITS:
1 12oz can Pillsbury Grands
1 stick butter
4 oz blue cheese crumbled (or more if you like! Feta and Goat cheese can be
swapped and both are good.)
Fires cilantro or parsley chopped, optional
Preheat oven to 375º. Melt butter in heavy pie pan. Cut each biscuit into
quarters. Put biscuits in pan and toss with butter. Sprinkle the blue cheese
over the biscuits. Sprinkle with the cilantro or parsley if desired. Bake 25-35
minutes until top is lightly browned and bubbly. Watch closely!
Serve with toothpicks or mini appetizer forks.
My super pal, Linda Nantz (hubby Marine with Jerry and she goes with me to
the Laughlin LASD reunion) her son Chris is celebrating his 48th birthday today.

Good morning.
Love the memorial. Put a smile on my face.
Glad to hear the Dempsey divorce did not go through. I friend's husband worked for them a few years back, and quite liked the couple.
I once got tickets to see Trace Adkins- in Cheyenne. Very impressive. The adventure was totally worth it.
It is very nice to see more men entering the nursing profession.
Hope you get a chance to see Nikki Haley's response to the State of the Union. Contrary to what Debbie Wasserman Schultz said about the Governor's popularity in South Carolina- the approval rating is 80%.
Some of the best nurses I have had to deal with were men. xo
