Rain ~ A Day Filled With Excitement ~ Pharmacist Day

Good 40º raining morning. Heard it start about 6am. Was raining hard at the coast yesterday. Patty said waves were up splashing over the pier.

The sun was playing hide and seek yesterday. It came out, went away, came back out, etc...   Sort of like why I call Bruiser, "hamburger"... he's in and out and in and out!

Yesterday a trip to the post office to get a couple packages and then another back therapy... back was being really killer. After the therapy I came home and  I sat in my chair with the electric blanket, turned it up, and that realllllly helped it feel better... well, along with some wine!

National Pharmacist Day

National Pharmacist Day is honors pharmacists, and recognizes their important role in medical care. A Pharmacist must be knowledgeable of the chemistry of all medicines. They can inform you of a drugs' side effects, and all aspects of prescription medicine. Very importantly, they understand and recognize the inter-action of drugs together...many people take numerous drugs.

National Pharmacist Day recognizes this important role. If you are in the pharmacy today, make sure to wish your pharmacist a good day.  Gifts and cards are not required.

Good morning. Thank you for reminding me of the therapeutic effects of an electric blanket. I'm going to check to see if my Chicago niece received her electric blanket. She's on permanent disability, and the only way she'll get one is, if now they are on sale, we can take up a collection for her and send her a bit of money for the electric bill.

We've been with the same pharmacist for years. He used to be an independent, but with the price-wars and industry consolidations, he moved to large corporation, where we now stand in line. A long line.

I hope your niece did.... if she didn't, I'll contribute, L. Line at the pharmacy? Not good. Glad I live in a much less populated area. Sometimes 1 car ahead of me in the drive up window line! xo

Sue, I do hope your back is better today. A hurting back is miserable. That's the reason I don't do too much detail work in the kitchen anymore. Cooking is the worse for my back. The rear end collision on Thursday night didn't help either.

I laughed when I saw the list of "celebrities" that have been posted of those who SAY they will leave if Trump is elected. Yea right. Many said that about GW but, crap, they are still here! Typical lefties, liars, all!
