Good freekin' cold 25º icy cloudy morning!!!! Sheeesh......
Ok, get out the Kleenex.... this from my pal Patty. You can't
watch this with dry eyes!
Now you need a
laugh...
OMG, yesterday I heard a
commotion of running on the porch. Went out and here was Dude and Bruiser
chasing a vole!! Didn't hang around. Hate to see any critter killed. I'm sure
between the two of them they got it! YUCK. Oh wait, yes the Bruise did, I found
the guts..... he won't eat the intestines or the heart.
The turkeys were out and flashing feathers for the girls. Mating season for
those guys...
Some have red waddles and some blue.....
At the same time the geese were on the barn roof making a commotion....
they honk and honk and then the rest of the geese show up. About 8 or 9 of them
this year. The same 3 are always back.
Since yesterday was National Homemade Soup Day I had to make some... cut up and sauteéd some chicken thighs. Add chicken stock to the crockpot along with garlic, onion, basil and some fire roasted diced tomatoes, and half a jar of leftover Alfredo Sauce....
Cut up the bacon, broccoli and cauliflower and mushrooms, added to pot ...
added in artichoke hearts with the liquid, white cheddar mac and cheese package,
butter, and some of Jennifer's fresh squeezed Meyer Lemons.
Set on low for 8 hours.
A year ago I got a new utility pole... the woodpeckers were filling it with
holes. Looked up yesterday and here are a bunch of holes in the new pole
already~
Went into town to the post office to pick up some packages... one was a new
cover for "Dude's couch"!
Yep, Mom, I like it!
That's good, because I like my bed too Mom. It's next to your desk so I can
keep an eye on you!

We had a friend who was related to Belle Star. He named his daughter Amber Belle. He was kind of a renegade. I have to go read, now what she did!
That soup looks mighty tasty! t&g
Good video, The Fork!
