Good 48º pouring rain full moon morning. Looks like this storm is going to continue for a few days! Trying to send some of it south to So. Ca!!! So far this storm has dropped 3" of the wet stuff!

Today is also the 3rd Wedding Anniversary of Aaron and Marie. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY KIDS!!

It would have been Jerry's mom's 91st Birthday. Happy Birthday Winona!

And my dear friend Pat Goslin (husband former Avalon Fire Chief) is 81 years old today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAT!!! Talked to her yesterday. Her son and family who live on Catalina are coming over to Oceanside to take Pat out to celebrate. xoxo

Yesterday the septic guys, Josh and Matt, came by and fixed the leak in my septic pipe.

The Bruise was checking it out....

Hmmmm.... left me the broken pipe. Like I want to touch that!

Oh well, I can put on rubber gloves and drop it in the trash can. At least it's fixed. No more disgusting "sewer" smell!!!

Ok, now that's out of the way... how about dinner last night..

Salmon, trottole pasta, mushrooms, chives, olives, Safeway's Lemon Butter Simmer Sauce, artichoke hearts in oil...

I reconstituted the dried mushrooms, drained and dried them... then sauteéd them in some of the artichoke oil...

Then I sauteéd the artichoke hearts with the cut up salmon in more of the artichoke oil... added in the pasta, the lemon butter simmer sauce, olives and chives.

This sauce is also GREAT in a slow cooker... There are several flavors.... Mandarin Orange, Lemon Butter, and Sesame Ginger. I think they also have a barbecue flavor too...
