Good 45º foggy morning. Predictions are for partly cloudy and 66º. Rained hard on and off all day yesterday.
Martin came over yesterday morning and stacked the huge pile of wood he had
dropped off a couple weeks ago.
He also cut up the stump, in the pouring rain, cut that wood, and stacked it. Cleaned up my wood
storage area. Will come back and take care of the raised beds and trim up
grapevines, etc. Hard worker!
Linda arrived yesterday about 2-ish. She ran into a lot of rain on the way.
We went to Grants Pass, I introduced her to Jennifer at the Kitchen Company and
then we went to Blondie's for early dinner.
Linda had the shrimp scampi and I had the chicken picatta .... both SO
GOOD!!!
We came home, got comfy in our chairs, poured some wine and watched a movie
Nancy Perry loaned me... Hachi ... A Dog Tale.
About
an Akita puppy shipped from Japan and found in the train station in the
states by Richard Gere, a professor. Touching!
Then we watched Chicago Fire, one of my favs. ( http://www.nbc.com/chicago-fire/ )
Linda kept saying, "Wow!". LOL. Firefighting is not something I'd want to do!!!
Simple Simon met a pie man going to the fair.
Said Simple Simon to the pie man,
'What have you got there?'
Said the pie man unto Simon,
'Pies, you dumb ass' !!
