Good 26º morning. FROZEN SOLID!

Wow, yesterday's football was exciting!
Rooting for the Broncos but sadly they lost to the Raunchy Ravens 38-35! THEN...... SF 49ers romped on the GB Packers (boo hoo Aaron!) 45-31! Amazing. Jeannie was a happy camper!!! That new guy, Kaepernick, is something else.

SO.... today the Seattle Seabirds <g>

are playing the Atlantean Falcons

10am Pacific time. Birds of prey.... should be good game!

THEN ... my Patriots

take on those Texans

at 1:30 Pacific time. Both are 12-4 for the season. Gonna be a nail-biter!

Leave it to Ike Saben to find this funny about "look at my new dog" !!
You will laugh and relate to this if you ever had a baby boy child!

Yesterday afternoon was a surprise birthday celebration for two friends, Bill Patterson and his pal Dan Knapp. Both are having birthdays this month. We all met at the Elk's lodge. Those of us with conspicuous cars parked in front of the building so they wouldn't be spotted in the parking lot. It worked. They were surprised! Food was good (baby meatballs in gravy, chicken wings, deli plate with cheeses and meats, bread, veggies and dip, olives and pickles, grapes.

Jeannie and Donna had this cake made. It was GOOD with a jelly center. OMG. (Albertson's bakery)

The cake cutting went well, especially since it was done by the 'un-cake-cutter' Bill.
Here is Jeannie, Dan, Bill, and Donna (looking surprised!) 'Oh Sue and her camera!' LOL.

Came home, got snuggy in my chair with a cat on my lap and had 'facetime' on my iPad with my Kristen. She was in her kitchen making pizza. I LOVE that iPad and the fun of seeing my girl when I'm talking to her!!! Bri on the other hand had a touch of stomach flu, but Jen said he's feeling better. :o( One of the drawbacks to working with the public and/or having school age children! You get everything! Hope today is good for you Bri!!! xo

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Football Sunday. Ciao.
As for the blog, it's acting up again and the photos won't go where they are supposed to. The type is jumping. I am so irritated! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......

International Skeptics Day

By definition, a skeptic is a person who questions or doubts facts and theories. He, or she, is a mis-believer. A skeptic does not accept the "Given". If you are inclined to doubt things that you see or hear, then International Skeptics Day is for you. If you practice a little, I'm sure we can make a good skeptic out of you. Go ahead, give it a try. And, what better day to practice skepticism, than International Skeptics Day?

LOL- I better not get more skeptical):- Love Trace Adkins- he was back up for the Act we flew to Wyoming to see- he absolutely stole the show. Besides a magnificent voice pushing lyrics that matter- that man can move.

Thanks for the early publish. One less excuse for my fanny to spend the day in this chair!
