Mini Cheeseburger Pies ~ Singing Huskies ~ Pastry Day

Good 37º foggy morning.

Not much to tell about yesterday. Nice to stay home. Did some Christmas card stuff .... today I will be wrapping presents and getting them ready to send off... Dinner was a rerun of the prime rib. OH SO GOOD!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here is a great (easy and creative) recipe....
Easy Mini Cheeseburger Pies
1# lean ground beef
1 cup onion chopped
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 t. garlic salt
1 cup shredded cheese
(I use grated fresh garlic and sea salt instead of garlic salt)
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup Bisquick
2 eggs
Garnish if desired...
mini kosher dill pickles
tomato chopped
ketchup and mustard
1.Heat oven to 375º. Spray 12 regular size muffin cups with cooking spray.
2.Cook beef in skillet with onion and garlic, over med heat 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently until thoroughly cooked, drain. Cool 5 minutes, stir in Worcestershire, salt, and cheese.
3.In bowl stir milk, Bisquick, and eggs with whisk or fork until blended. Spoon 1 T baking mixture into each muffin cup. Top with about 1/4 cup burger mixture. Spoon 1 tablespoon baking mixture onto burger mixture.
4. Bake about 30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean and muffin tops are golden brown. Cool 5 minutes, with thin knife loosen sides of muffins and remove from pan. Place on cooling rack for abut 10 minutes and serve with garnishes. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!
**Get creative, use ground pork, turkey, chicken, different kinds of cheese, add some provolone... Jack....Mexican cheese blend....even ricotta. Use cooked chicken, chopped, add Asian seasonings, cilantro, green onions, even soba noodles! **Use crab meat of fake crab, chopped bell pepper (red and green), onion, seafood seasoning, mozzarella cheese. Use breakfast sausage, mushrooms, onion, sage, and cheddar cheese. Add chopped thawed drained broccoli to chicken.
Good morning!
The dog videos were cute, was waiting for the second one to snap at the baby. Yikes, I think he thought the baby was off key. LOL
OMG, that recipe sounds wonderful. Must try it. Talk about being creative. You certainly have led us in the right direction. Thanks.
Glad the hand is better, I knew Harley didn't mean to hurt you.
Now I am going to go back and read up on the "people" you posted.
Have a wonderful day. xo
