Fog ~ Jalapeño Popper Spread ~ Sunday Football ~ Bin Laden/Benghazi .. Don't forget!

Good 35º VERY foggy morning. Rain scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday.

Bruiser had been gone 36 hours. Worry worry worry! Pray and cry. :o(  He came back just a little bit ago. Sigh....... I know. Here he is resting from his journey.....

Here's a great idea to serve at your holiday party...
Jeannie's Jalapeño Popper Spread
(Actually Taste of Home but Jeannie sent it to me because she likes it!)

It tastes just like jalapeño poppers, but with lots less work.
2 pkg. (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
1 cup mayo
1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack Cheese, or a little more
1/4 cup canned chopped green chilies, or maybe the entire small can.
1/4 cup canned diced jalapeno peppers (or whole large can)
1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup Panko
In a large bowl, beat the first five ingredients until blended. Spread into an ungreased 9 inch pie plate. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, top with Panko and bake at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned. Spread on any type of cracker or bread toasts. Enjoy.

Of course you realize there are only 15 days until Christmas!

So glad Mr. Bruiser is back home safe and sound! Hope he remembers to play it safe now and keep out of fights after his medical ordeal! Seems it's in his nature of have the wanderlust even tho he is loved, well fed and cared for by you.

LOVE the sound and looks of that jalapeno spread. YUM!!

I simply do not understand how the people of our nation aren't demanding the truth and calling for Obama's "head on a platter" after what happened in Benghazi. (sp)grrrrr
