Cold Cold and More Cold ~ Bouillabaisse

Good 21º morning.

Nothing much to report. This cold has been kicking my butt.
My BFF Jeannie said to wrap up and stay warm and watch movies, yesterday. Being the good friend that I am, I took her advice! Took Thera-Flu and it kicked the sneezing and runny nose pretty well! Still taking it. Had a visit from FedEx and from UPS Dave.... there he is pushing the gate button, heading out ....
Will be getting packages wrapped now....

So, basically all I did was sit in my chair most of the day. Boring. Did have some nice phone chats with Brian, Kristen, Jeannie, Patty...... Dinner was beyond excitement... chicken noodle soup.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have a friend, Ann, who has lots of 'secret' 'unidentified' friends. (LOL Ann!) and she gets information .... like this note from her re Alec Baldwin and his American Air Lines fiasco .... BTW, this 'secret friend' is an air line pilot.
He said....
"I'm flying to DFW (that would be Dallas Fort Worth) today for a meeting. I'll try to reach you later in the week. I did see the Baldwin bit on SNL (he's not wearing a Captain's uniform, by the way)
Friends with Words? Right. He's an investor in that company I'm told, and he used the opportunity to get the name in the press."
Well, what a surprise. He's a devious bas**rd! Entitled. Self-serving. Rude. Crude. Unrefined! Adam Henry. Hollyweirdo. Everything I've read says he yelled obscenities at the crew, refused to put away his phone, and while seatbelt light was on he got up and went to the bathroom, slamming the door so hard it alarmed the cockpit crew.
Ok.......... off
Today is the birthday of a friend from back in the Temple City days and from high school..... Barbetta (Hanson) Suttles.
We were friends, in Jobies, and she babysat my Brian when he was same age as her baby girl, Krista. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BARBETTA!!!! I miss you.
Today is also the 43rd wedding anniversary of another dear friend, Annalee (Carlin)
and Led Fortini. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY KIDS!!! Their wedding, 1968, was so lovely. The church was decorated with gorgeous white Christmas trees and a red runner down the isle. We, the bridesmaids, carried green holly with red berries. Ann said she was going to scan a picture and send it to me today. Will share...
Here is Ann and Led's website... http://www.fortinihome.com/
As much as you are not going to like this, I think you should repeat yesterday's non-exciting activities, or there might be a good chance Santa won't show. Feel better BFF!!!
Baldwin, don't get me started.
Try and have a warm comfy day! xo
Re Alec Baldwin what an arrogant piece of human debris! WHO the hell does he think he is??? I didn't know until I read on Sue's blog how he stormed to the restroom and slammed the door so hard. So glad they kicked his sorry ass off! What the hell was he thinking? What's up with the Hollyweird types that they think they are superior to the rest and can do what the hell they want??? I say BRAVO FOR AMERICAN AIRLINES!! I'll bet my Auntie Margie, former AA stew is so proud!! xo T
