U S Navy Band Commodores Jazz Ensemble ~ Baklava

Good 49º morning. (just like a summer day!) Thought we were going to get rain last night, just a sprinkle and only 3/100ths of an inch. 60% expected today with snow at higher elevations tonight.

Yesterday stayed cloudy all day.... this was 1pm...

Late yesterday afternoon I met up with Bill & Jeannie and Donna & Dan at the Elks. We had a wine and then headed to the Grants Pass High School to see the United States Navy Band. On my way into town the sky was wild....

We saw the United States Navy Band, the Commodores Jazz Ensemble :

Great jazz. Even some big band. We all sang the Star Spangled Banner at the start. They played all the services's songs at the end. Everyone cheered and cheered! They have a website where you can listen their music...
www.navyband.navy.mil and if you click on the different groups you can click on 'Discography' and hear their music.

Hey, here's a fun puzzle...
If you can put this puzzle together, say goodbye to Alzheimers!
Thanks Joan Knoeppel for this!

Wilsonites... today is Steve Geon's birthday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVE! Retired LAPD ... followed in his father's footsteps. Here's an article in which Steve's name is mentioned...

Gator, you are funny! No comment about your Navy band!!!! Come on Squid.... Have you ever seen them perform? xo

LOL LOL I too thought Gator would have some comments about that band! He was probably too intent on putting that puzzle together. I went to it and the damn pieces kept moving around so I didn't bother. No time for that.
I'm with you re Lauren Hutton. Never did see the big deal with her. No beauty IMHO. It was like she was proud of that tooth gap! I have seen other gals with that too who are models! Jeeeze!
Such a cryin shame about Dean Martin's pilot son. I know Dean never got over his death. Does one EVER get over a child's death? Don't think so.

Hugs, Trisha

Thanks T. You are right, I don't see how a tragedy like losing a child can ever be erased from your heart. xo
