Good  41º morning. OMG, like a summer day!!!!

LOL, sure beats the 24º from yesterday morning.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL!!! (What a cutie pie!!!)

On Wednesday, the Associated Press honored
the New England Patriots' Bill Belichick as the coach
of the year. But does the "hoodie" from New England deserve it?
So, to answer the question, does Belichick deserve this award?
Yeah, sure he does.

New England's offense was atop the NFL this year, while the Patriots
scored 30+ points in eight straight games.
The Patriots were the best team in football during the regular season.
It did not work out in the playoffs, but this is a regular season award.
Congratulations Bill. Sure wish I could be watching you guys tomorrow!!!

First picture 1:30pm yesterday ... second one 5:30pm

The pooches were watching the neighbors hiking
along the fence line....

You can see where Maggie's butt was shaved and the
hair hasn't grown back. One of the symptoms of Cushings.
Old baboon butt!!!!

Yesterday the big excitement was stacking wood on the porch. We did have a great snuggy fire last night in the wood stove!
I had Tivo'd Rachael Ray and she had on Patriot's linebacker Ron Brace

who cooked steak ... Saint's kicker Garrett Hartley

who made  crayfish etouffeé ...
and Giants tackle Chris Canty

making hot artichoke/spinach dip.
It was called the 4th Annual Super Bowl Recipe Playoff.
Joe Theisman was the judge.

Ron Brace's steak made me drool ....
The hot dip Chris Canty made looked like heaven....

And, Garrett Hartley's Crawfish Etoffeé was the big winner. I'm going to make that! But, since crawfish are hard to come by here, I'll use big shrimps...
Hartley looked like a midget standing between Brace and Canty! OMG. Funny. Canty is quite a kicker, kicking a 40 yarder in overtime to get them to the Super Bowl on January 24, 2010 against the Vikings in the NFC Championship game to send the New Orleans Saints to their first Super Bowl. He continued in Super Bowl XLIV, going 3-for-3 with field goals of 46, 44, and 47 yards. He became the first kicker in Super Bowl history to convert three field goals of 40 yards or more.

Not much going on here. Think I'll be doing some cooking experimenting...
laundry, vacuuming, etc. All the stuff that makes life worth living.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Saturday!

Thank you for the links to the recipes. Like I need one more suggestion to tempt my husband to have me cook):-

Cojoined twins- I can't imagine anyone wanting to be that close to me their entire life....

There is a neighbourhood here in town that blocks off their street and has a big crawfish festival. It looks like so much fun! They have Bayou Music. I have no idea where they get the crawfish tho. I tried to talk my neighbours into doing something similar. No buyers. - Tammy

Seems to me a number of years back Jerry and the kids and I camped next to the Merced River. (such a thing?) and we caught crayfish in the river. My sister lived by Lake Tahoe and when a Noreaster blew across the lake the crayfish would blow up onto the shore and bro-in-law would take a bucket and pick them up! Cool!
