Snow ~ Sami ~ Women Drivers ~ Frozen Food Day

Good YIKES we got a bunch of snow 32º morning!
Yesterday morning just after I posted my blog it started snowing at 8am. Very light, some stuck and most didn't. Brian texted me it was snowing in GP. I had seen it on the GP downtown cam. http://web.thedailycourier.com/web_cam_2/
Then in a little while, by 9am it started snowing harder. Lasted awhile and then the sun came out and it all melted.
Then at 3pm it started down again. Well over night we got MORE! The geese on the barn roof......

And it's still coming down. Joy. Guess I won't be going anywhere today! Here is 199 in Grants Pass:

The Siskiyou Summit is a total mess!

I met up with Brian, Jen, Tucker, and Sami at The Vine for lunch yesterday... it was nice...blue sky!!!

We were celebrating Sami's birthday.

I gave her this bear..... she loved it!

Jen had a salad/soup, Sami & Tucker had hamburgers, Brian a steak sandwich, and I had cheese filled hand made ravioli topped with a sauce of leeks and shallots and wine and smoked salmon on top.
    OMGOSH was it good!!!!

Historically this date....
I did a super goof on March 2nd. I put the wrong stuff in history and births. I used the info from March 6th by mistake. Sorry. Tomorrow I will have it right, I promise.
This shared by Mike Cippola.... women drivers... OMGOSH, these are total idiots, but funny!

Later it was chair, wine, and Rookie Blue and Blue Bloods.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Monday. Ciao.

What a nice little celebration of Sami's birthday. What struck me funny were the simple meals everyone had then grandma ordered something fancy. :) Love the bear. At first I thought it was a Build-a-Bear. Eric bought one for Isabella's first birthday. It was a fancy princess bear. :)

I cracked up at those foreign women drivers. You could tell by the license plates. Too funny when the guy driving the car waiting for that woman to park he finally got out and parked it for her. Funny! Wondered where they all got their driver's licenses??

Stay warm!!

Well, Brian's was special order, not on the menu, but Dustin (owner/chef) is a pal of Brian's. I always like to try something new and different! Yes, that happened to a friend of mine with him getting in her car and moving it for her. Sigh..... A lot of these were European, as the driver's side was on the right.
Keeping warm, thanks! xo

When I was at John Robert Powers Modeling School in Los Angeles (right across the street from MacArthur Park) I parked to go inside for class. When I came out I was hemmed in so tightly front and back I tried and tried but couldn't get out of that space.
Finally a man came along and offered to help me. So I got out and let this perfect stranger work my car out of that spot. Lucky for me he was a gentleman and got out and I got in and drove away. Never occurred to me that he could have driven off in my car. :) I was 17 and a senior in high school :)
