Full Moon ~ Rain ~ Dude ~ KISS Military Tribute ~ Anne & Led Fortini ~ Barbetta Suttles ~ Bouillabaisse

Good 35º raining morning. Started raining in the night. So far we've gotten 1" and it keeps on comin'! We won't be able to see the full moon here! Dang!

When we get up in the morning, first thing Dude and Bruiser want to go outside. Then I make my tea and come sit here at my desk. The rain doesn't bother Dude, as he is so excited when he comes back in and gets a good "rub down" with a towel to dry him off.
He loves that!!!!

Yesterday I got this from pal Ellen Naugle, Wilsonite and former next door neighbor... I never really cared for Gene Simmons, but this show he put on for the USO in Iraq was wonderful and my ideas about him have changed a bit! Thanks Ellen!!

I bet this is not something that happens anymore, but in grammar school we all learned The Air Force Song, The US Army Song, The Navy Song... Anchors Away, and The Marines Hymn.

Today is special... 48 years ago I was in a BFF's wedding. Annalee Carlin married Led Fortini. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY KIDS!!!!

December 14th
National Bouillabaisse Day

I think that you will agree with me that this is a day to celebrate a tasty Mediterranean fish stew or soup.
Here is a recipe....

My age group learned the military songs from musicals and movies. And parades.

Happy humping!

I would swear that Patty Duke is no longer with us. I think she passed away a few years back.
I just saw her in a Hallmark movie where she was an angel. :)

I always thought Gene Simmons was so weird but then I came to realize that the weirdness with Kiss was just an act. He is a good "R", supported Trump and the military. He was also on The Apprentice. He had done many good deeds.

You are right T, Patty Duke did pass away, but just 9 months ago. I fixed it. Thanks. ox
