Good 53º cloudy rainy morning. Rain started about 10 after 8 and lasted 30 minutes. Now the sun is working at coming through.

I have been fighting with this computer all morning. Frustrated beyond words. FUBAR~!!!!! Need a new one! Some didn't get my daily drivel email yesterday... sorry, no idea what's going on.

Yesterday I met up with Joann (Dee's pal visiting from So. Cal), Dee, Kathy, and Nancy  at Taqueria de Guacamaya in Rogue River for lunch...

Nancy won't let me take her picture! LOL. She's soooo shy!!!  Anyway I had a fish taco and a spinach/cheese tamale that were WONDERFUL

Joann had a margarita she loved, Dee and Kathy had the tortilla soup that they loved! Nancy took home some tamales for Dave. Nice lunch. Good time.

Mike came over and did more weed-eating and mowing yesterday. Dave should be here this weekend to brush-hog the pastures... if it's not raining!

So Tuesday when I was in the kitchen fixing dinner I looked out and saw Bruiser with a snake in his mouth. I yelled and yelled "NO NO NO" and went running outside. He dropped the snake in the grass (LOL!) and was up on the porch. I picked up the snake and put it through the lattice under the porch so Bruiser couldn't get him again. Then I took the Bruise in the house. I am not sure what kind of snake it was. Looked something like this... not quite as big...

.... and not as robust as this one.....
It wasn't a garter snake, they are very colorful, it was gray and smooth and about 18" long..... there is a type of boa up here and it could have been a baby one.

I was going to cook dinner but still too full from lunch. Just chilled..... chair, wine, and TV.

Now, I am going to attempt to save this and post it if AOL cooperates and my computer is behaving. Sigh...............

All I know. Nuff said. Happy TBT. Ciao.

Thank you for ll the trouble to get the blog up today.

You made me remember when our now in dog heaven labrador retreivor decided to chase a snake in the bushes here. It wasn't a rattler- so I decided to stay out of the way and let nature take its course.

The looser.... the entire row of azaleas. Guess the snake didn't hold still, but the flowers did. So they got eaten.

Have a GOOD one.

Yes, it came thru just fine.

What a brave girl you are!! You picked up the snake and didn't even know what kind it was! OMG girl!!

I can never figure out why anyone doesn't want their pic taken. It's really no big deal and people with a camera like to have a memory of an occasion. I just shake my head about that. :(

My boys didn't care for devils food cake so I always had to make a yellow one. Funny cause they love chocolate! :)

I'm not brave,T, the snake didn't have any rattlers and he was small and scared. Lots of people don't want their picture taken. I only like mine taken when the picture is on my camera and I can delete or fix it!!! xoox
