Good 53º semi cloudy morning...
Looking south.... with Fielder Mountain...
Looking northeast....
I was going to go to Tucker's baseball game yesterday, but the
back was being killer, so I stayed home and rested!
This bird loves the Red Hot Pokers... it appears to be an American
Goldfinch.
Not easy to get his picture, very flighty!
Breakfast was poached eggs with asparagus and fresh mozzarella
balls...

Our language is interesting, to say the least.
Now if all the 'C' words were spelled with 'K' it would go
like this...
I kannot eat kantelope as it makes me kringe.
I kannot eat kantelope as it makes me kringe.
That still works, but the other way around doesn't so much..
I could not unlock the door without a cey. The cing and queen of England.
My cids are outside playing on the swings.
Just sayin' ....

This video shared by pal Patty Kuehl. It's 3 minutes. I LOVE birds and
animals and this video is just so fun and relaxing...
A lot of patience was involved in making this.
Today has
been designated as Peace Officers Memorial Day
Raul Gama you are still missed! RIP my
friend.
Ok, this is
cop humor, and some of you may not appreciate it or get it, but that's ok. When
I first saw this video I was laughing and so enjoying it. (Thanks Terry Bonyea!)
Besides, I love Inner Circle and "whatcha gonna do when they come for you....
bad boys bad boys" ..... This in honor of all peace officers
everywhere!
I'm still laughing!
When I was working the desk (911 & calls for service) at ELA
Station, I had a similar bumper sticker...it said "Call 911 - I make cops come"
... Well...................... one of the really prudish beeotchy secretaries
(who should have NEVER been working in a male dominated environment) complained
to the Capt about the bumper sticker. Swell. Called into Captain's office. He
apologized, and I said, "for him" I'd remove it so the sophomoric little girl
would get off his back!
Geesh! Everyone else liked it!

I liked it when you called it "my mountain". :)
Loved that police slide show! There are a few I would like to post on my FB page. FUNNY! Bartender! LOL

Chocolate chip cookies are my fave, when I eat cookies. :)
Hope you back is feeling better today.

Thanks T, it's still "my mountain" .... Back is OK, but still going slow. I'll see if I can find you some of those bumper stickers! xo
Good morning to you and your mountain from me and my garden!
It's hard to tell- but I think the picture of the black and yellow bird might actually be an oriole. They are very skittish. Seasonal here. I usually hear them before I see them. Definitely camera shy.
The birds I researched and the orioles are orange and the finches are yellow. xo
