Today is the day... I hope you remembered to set your clocks ahead ....
it's later than you think!!! I have an atomic projection clock (projects on the

clock change to 2am. Then nothing but 2:01, 2:02..... then it became 3:02!!!
Ahhhh..... here's me:
With the inclement weather yesterday ... looked like this all day:
I stayed in and did "in house"
stuff.... We got 1" of the rain since yesterday. I trimmed and fixed a couple
of my house plants. I went through clothes and filled a box of them to take to
our local senior center thrift store and Goodwill. And I actually threw out a
number of things!!!! Whoot!!!
I
cannot either

Dinner.... ahhh scallops!!! First the risotto ... it went into my rice
cooker and the asparagus was sauteéd lightly with garlic salt, water, and a
little olive oil.
Heat a large skillet over med-high heat, add a couple turns of olive oil to
pan. Season drained dried scallops with salt and pepper. When the pan is very hot
place the scallops in the pan. Sear in a single layer, causing them to
caramelize, 2 minutes on each side. Lower heat and add in about 1/2 cup lemon
juice, a couple pats of butter. Cook about 1-2 minutes.
I mixed the risotto with the sauteéd asparagus and cut up some baby
cucumbers. HEAVEN!!!!!
The original recipe came from Rachael Ray and she used vermouth, I like
lemon juice better for cooking the scallops.
Then it was chair, wine, and Blue Bloods.
All I know. Nuff said. Happy Sunday. Ciao.

March 13th
K9 Veterans Day
The idea of a K9 Veterans Day originated with a retired military working
dog trainer named Joseph Wright who wanted recognition for dogs who serve in
military, law enforcement and other capacities. He selected March 13th because
it is the official birthday of the US Army K9 Corps.

LOL I sat here and laughed out loud at your cartoon of the couch potato race. What a hoot! That would include me too. I guess you could call me a computer chair potato! :)
Yes, we have come a long way from George W to BHO to Hil liar y (God forbid she is ever back in the WH!!)
Have a great day!
XO Trisha
Yes T, "computer potato" !!!! LOL. Good one. xo
I didn't know Pluto was discovered by the Harvard College Observatory the same year Walt Disney invented his dog of the same name. Wonder if there is a connection.
Love the dogs. Gerry once had a friend in Arizona who trained his dog to pick up the phone when it rang and bark in the receiver.
Look forward to the morning reading.
