Good 38º cloudy morning.
Yesterday morning:
And after 1.25" of rain:
Snow on my mountain!
Throw Back Thursday... Farrah Fawcett in
Acapulco when I was working for Fabergé. We carried her line of hair products.
She was very sweet, very shy, and very needy. And, shorter than me! Really a
sweet gal. Too bad she had to be with that Adam Henry Ryan O'Neal. He was a
total JERK!
Yesterday I headed into town and got some
BioFreeze to take to Brian to try for his achy knees. Took him a mini chocolate
birthday cake and his gifts...
Next I headed to The Twisted Cork in Grants Pass
to meet up with Chris Church for lunch. http://www.thetwistedcorkgrantspass.com/home.html
Got a table right by the front window... love
watching the people walk by..
We both picked the same thing for lunch... crepe
Crepe with sauteéd mushrooms, spinach, Brie, and an "artichoke
sauce"
OMGOSH, it was sooooo good! The salad was great
too, with a citrus dressing. We had a great two hour gab-fest along with a
couple glasses of win. Great time Chris!
We left there about 1:30 and the rain was coming
down pretty good...
Headed to Safeway for groceries, then home to
unload my loot in the pouring rain! Then it was chair, wine, and a chat with
Jennifer.
Today is my niece, Melinda Plumbridge's,
birthday. She and my nephew, Jimmy, are in Belize for a month! Wow, whatta
vacation!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRETTY MELLIE!!!
She and Jimmy live at Tahoe, so this is a super
nice change from that weather up there! Mellie is 'artist extrodinaire' and you
can see her creations here:

I had some stains on my carpet .... normally I
use 409 carpet stain remover, but it wasn't working, so I ordered this, Blue
Magic, from www.amazon.com
WOW, it worked great. Spray it on, rub it in,
vacuum when dry. Best one I've used yet!
All I know. Nuff said. Happy TBT.
Ciao.

Good morning. Happy birthday to the artist. Nice work.
I need to check the rain gauge. Only thing I'm sure of, is whatever we got, it was delightful.
Shannon did Farrah's hair several times. Liked her very much- and I'm sure it was mutual.
A reporter friend met Travolta on location. Her boss found out and ordered her to knock on his door and get an interview right then. The poor man was exhausted, begged for her to come back the next day. She explained it meant she would lose her job if she didn't get something then. So he was very kind to give her a nice interview before conking out. An incredible kindness.
Glad to hear Travolta is a nice person. I saw a piece on him and his wife once. Think it was on 20/20. They were aboard his 727 (I think that's what it is) He was wearing his Captain's uniform and she was in a flight attendance uniform. He pilots that plane himself. I saw a pic from the air of their home and that huge airplane is parked right next to it. :)
I tried for years and years to get my hair to look like Farrah's but couldn't quite get there. I loved her hair.
Love that meme? about wine. YES isn't every day wine drinking day? It is in this house! :)
Great paintings from your niece and pricey too.
XO Trisha
Thanks ladies!!!! Cheers! xo
