Good 40º foggy morning.
Yesterday the sun did come out for a bit, but by 9:30am it was gone behind
dark clouds. By 10am we were getting rain. It drizzled on and off all day. We
ended up with 1/4".
In the morning a usual is Bruiser and Dude go out for their morning
'thing'. Then they come back in while I finish my blog. Bruiser is the wild
child and loves running madly through the house and jumping up on the hutch and
seeing what he can knock off! I keep a spray bottle close and spray him, and he
gets down. But he will do it again and again. So, finally tired of his game I
took everything off the hutch.. photos and a few nicknacks (or knicknacks,
however you spell it) So, what does he do? He gets up there and just looks
around! (All the pictures are sitting on the dining room table)
Lunch with the 'girls', Nancy, Jennifer, and Micol, at Gtanos, or so we
thought...
I LOVE their food, South American, and their Peruvian Margaritas are the
BEST. They make fresh guacamolé at your table. BUT............. their FB page
said they are open at 11. NOT. They don't open til 3pm! DANG. Micol got there
and so we went next door to Blondies. Nancy and Jennifer showed up. We sat there
being ignored...
Got irritated and left. We went across the street to The Bohemian.
Apparently the girls liked what they had, but I didn't like my Chicken Thai
Lettuce Wraps. Too little, too late!
Anyway, the wine was good! And we jibber jabbered away...
Jennifer, me, Nancy, Micol.... xoxox
I had a back therapy appointment in RR so left for that. Ahhhhh.......
Stacy and her magic hands!!! Then to ACE to buy some of Grandpa Graham's
Blackberry BBQ Sauce. It's made in Grants Pass. I got the Hickory Smoke, but
they have other flavors.... regular & chipotle. It tastes GREAT. Berry BBQ
sauce was featured on Dr. Oz recently.
I will find out where else this is sold and let you know.

Your hutch is GORGEOUS! The shot is dark- is that a mica shade on the lamp? Your house has a soul- a beautiful one with lots of Scottish smiles about it.
The best was to watch the Oscars is to record the red carpet then fast forward- stopping at the fashions which catch my eye- in only the good way.
Why thank you L!!! I wouldn't say my house has "soul", more like "character" .. like me!!! Yes, a mica shade on the lamp. I have a floor standing one in the living room. Yes, I record the Hollyweird night, so I can fast forward too!!!! ox
YES, what a lovely hutch! When I saw it I thought Lydia would love it too. Antique, right? Where did you get it?
Bruiser makes me laugh so much. He seems to love to sit up high.
Poor Chelsea didn't have a chance with parents looking the way they do.
Liz Taylor was my all time favorite actress for most of my life but then it seemed that she started "over acting". More drama than necessary I thought.
LOVE Josh Groban's singing. John and I went to one of his concerts at The Honda Center. I was ticked! For a solid hour he had a black African musical group performing. Then when he finally came out his show was all about Nelson Mandella. Even the backdrop had his picture on it. Groban has a foundation for him and was raising money! The next day I wrote to the OC Register where they were reviewing his show and told them I didn't pay all that money to see a political rant!! I did enjoy his singing tho!

Thanks T! It is antique, but don't know it origin. A guy Jerry worked with at the range had a girlfriend and I bought it from her when she was trying to raise money. ox
