Wild Turkeys ~ Geese ~ USN ~ Roe vs Wade ~ Sunday Football ~ Redneck BBQ ~ Cheesy Potatoes/Burger Patty

Good 41º cloudy foggy morning. Rain yesterday ... 1/4". No rain predicted for today and tomorrow. Nice. When my car was serviced Friday they washed it. Nice to have a clean car for a couple days!!!

Ok, it's been a month since Christmas already!!! Yikes!

Yesterday I was moving slow. For breakfast/lunch, since it was National Peanut Butter Day, I had rice cakes with peanut butter, banana on one with a drizzle of honey, and mayonnaise on the other. Daddy loved peanut butter and mayo sandwiches. Me too!!

Yesterday I went out to feed the birds and there were over 30 turkeys who showed up to share with the birds!!!

Of course the geese are here same time as the turkeys...

My friend Terry Bonyea (LASD ret) shared this... Talk about talent! These sailors and the UA Navy Band blew me away. And dang.... hot in those white uniforms!!!! Turn it on and sit back and enjoy!

The 22nd was the anniversary of Roe vs Wade. My friend Bob Klamm posted this of his wife Micol....
   Good one Bob!!!!

My email pal, Dave Clark (LASD ret), sent this... A Redneck BBQ!
What a great use for an old item! LOL.

Dinner was potatoes and burger patty. I cut in half and cooked the potatoes..

When the potatoes were done, drained, and added into the pot chopped up bacon, artichoke hearts, chives, and cheese. Stirred that up and added in about 1/3 cup of the Bacon Sauce. Let it sit on warm. Then cooked the burger patties...

I mixed some of the Bacon Sauce with steak sauce and topped the burger patty with that.
   OMGOOOOD!!!!!

Chair, wine, TV.

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Monday. Ciao.

That was an exciting last 12 seconds in a game. Are you wearing black since the Patriots are out?

LOL- I may never get over that barbecue):-
