Good 50º smokey morning. Yesterday was the WORST day of the
smoke. Unbearable.
Breakfast yesterday was more Egg-Tastic eggs.... a dab of butter in the
bottom of the egg cooker, an egg, bacon salt. 45 seconds for each. LOVE it!!!!
.... and a little squirt of siracha mayonaise! YUMMMMMM

was slightly lighten the dark banana skin, but not much.
Looked out back and here was Mr. Buck enjoying the deer block...
Yesterday was errand day. Trip to Grants Pass to my yearly eye doc
appointment with Dr. Jeffery Pelson at the Eye Care Group on NW 6th St.
I highly recommend this excellent doctor! Besides, a former Eagle Scout and served in
the US Navy! Super nice, daddy of 4!
I ordered new frames. My glasses upgraded a tad for distance. Said the eyes
both look good and no problems.
Then to renew driver's license at DMV.
Surprised me, new building, nice, and the time spent there was only 45
minutes! Filled out the form, showed them my birth certificate (careful... it's
an ancient document!) and took the eye test. Passed 100%. Had picture taken,
was given a temporary license, and was on my way!
A stop at Staples
for some mailing labels, business card blanks, and business size
envelopes.
A stop at the Kitchen Company
for some enchiladas Jennifer made and wanted to share.
Then Ray's for chicken thighs to cook for Dude.
When I got home I unloaded the car, put the groceries away, made a lemon
drop martini on the rocks and devoured the enchilada Jennifer had given me!
OMGOOOOOD. She made it with corn, egg plant, chicken, and other stuff. Going to
have to get her recipe! (PLEASE Jen!!!!)
Then it was pjs, wine, a great Hallmark movie (natch!), 'A Novel Romance'.
