Good 30º morning. OMG it got to 71º yesterday. Not a cloud, no fog. It was
beautiful. Everyone was smiling!!!
Here is a good sounding recipe for a healthy salad dressing....
Peppered Herb Yogurt Dressing
1/2 c. + 1 T. plain whole milk yogurt (don't get the +1 T though)
1 t. coarsely cracked black peppercorns
1/2 t. finely chopped garlic
3 T. extra virgin olive oil
1/4 c. chopped mixed herbs (chives, dill, tarragon, parsley,
cilantro....)
Kosher salt or sea salt
Whisk together the yogurt, peppercorns, garlic, and 2 T. of water.
Gradually whisk in the olive oil until emulsified. Stir in the herbs and season
with salt.
The wind came up yesterday... like a hurricane!!!
First it was blowing leaves east and then west. They would swirl like a
tornado. I got such a kick out of watching Bruiser chase the leaves. He was
having a blast! I had cleaned off the front porch just prior... and then a ton
of leaves blew up on the porch. Swell.....
On the good side, the back patio cement slab was covered with leaves,
branches, and turkey poop (they are nosey and have to walk around out there!)
and when the winds came up they cleaned off the whole patio! All leaves/poop/and
branches were gone!
Here is a great picture of my Harley sleeping in Cliff's lap... taken a
year ago yesterday!
I so miss that kitty. He was amazing, living to be 22
years old.
Went to Medford yesterday for a visit with my doc. Because of neck pain and
occasional slight dizziness (don't even go there!) I am going to have an MRI of
my spine next week sometime. It could be the arthritis in there... it's
everywhere else! Then a visit with my rheumatologist. Such excitement.
Came back to the market for coffee creamer, cheese, and chicken thighs.
More excitement. Home to a rerun of the gumbo (yummmmy!) and a snuggy chair and
TV. Even more excitement!
Tonight is the "all you can eat crab feed"
at the Elk's Lodge. Going with a group (Yellins, Pattersons, Corsos, Horns,
and my pal Jennifer) Will be fun.

We were one of Apple's first 100 customers. My husband said it was "all he ever wanted." Now we have more computer-power than people living here.
That dressing sounds so good! Let me know if you make it!!
Have fun at the Crab Feed! Love t&g
