Good 50º low cloudy morning. Yesterday turned out nice after the initial rain in the morning. Then it cleared up and only had white fluffy clouds and a temp of 70º. Then later in the afternoon the rain came down again. Hopefully the Ride the Rogue folks had a good day and didn't get too soaked.

Today two special people are celebrating their birthdays... my friend John Berokoff from far back as kindergarten at Sierra Park and through high school at Wilson. Football player and all around nice guy! Had a crush on him... you can see why. I think ALL the girls had a crush on John! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN!!!

 

And... my friend Jan Vargo

from as far back as 1965 or 66. Her Richie was born a couple months before my Kristen. This is her Richie and my Kristen..

Now, like me, her children are grown and she has Butchette.... this is one funny loveable cat...

Yesterday was move furniture around and clean day. UGH. My pal Linda from Woodland down near Sacramento is coming for a visit this week so I changed a few things around in the living room. Told Dude to stay off the couch. He went outside with The Bruise ...

 

I finished up vacuuming and cleaning and steaming the floors... Dude came in and was the SADDEST dog ever. "His spot" on the couch didn't have a sheet on it and he moped and moped! I finally gave in and put the sheet back on the couch...one happy dog!!!! Thanks mom!

 

Dinner was reruns of the bean soup. Good stuff! Then in my chair and TV time. Watched a couple good Hallmark movies. Love them, always happy endings! One was about a woman accused of killing her husband and she goes on the lamb to find the real killer. "After All These Years", starring Wendie Malick

Elephant Appreciation Day is today. Show us how much you care about elephants. This is a big, elephant sized day. We feel it should be celebrated in a big way.
