Deer ~ Jen ~ Lobster Dinner ~ Dude ~ Busy Day

Good 56º morning. Got to 99º yesterday. UGH. Stayed inside. Later I turned on sprinklers and the birds were happy happy... hopping through the water. Went to go out back and there was a doe laying in the shade. We didn't disturb her.

Oh thank Heaven for 7-11! It is the birthday of someone very special.. Jennifer...my daughter-in-law! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JEN!!!! xo♥xo

My friend Trish Bowler posted this on my FB page... this is SO Bruiser!!!!

Dinner last night was lobster tail...corn on the cob....tomato and avocado salad....

Cut lobster tail down the top, pull meat out and set on top of shell. Melt butter, skim off fat, brush on lobster, sprinkle with paprika. Bake 18 minutes at 400º
I spread the dressing on the corn....

PICTURE of the day....

1922 – The Hollywood Bowl opens.
Jerry and I went to some fun concerts there... took our picnic basket.... good times.

2012 – Astronomers announce the discovery of Styx, the fifth moon of Pluto.

And births this date include....
1767John Quincy Adams, American politician, 6th President of the United States (d. 1848)

1920Yul Brynner, Russian actor (d. 1985)
 ... interesting....

1931 – Tab Hunter, American actor
    ...another interesting story....

1956Sela Ward, American actress

1963 – Lisa Rinna, American actress
... an Oregon girl from here in Medford....

So, I go in the living room and look who thought he was being sneaky .... this is the spot where Bruiser likes to lay ...
Crazy Dude! He does this when I'm not looking... and then he squints his eyes ... I think to make it appear he's smaller, in his mind! I had a collie, Lucy, who thought she was a lap dog and would squint her eyes too! Funny.

All I know. Busy day... JCRW lunch and speaker Dennis Richardson, our state district representative.
Then a quick Costco stop and later Jen's birthday celebration at Applegate Ranch. Ciao.

Happy Birthday to a woman fortunate to live in such a wonderful family who understands your part in making life fabulous for them. There is no greater gift- but I still hope they will throw in some more):-!

Have blueberries. It's a bit hot here- so maybe pancakes.

Great blog.
