Moonwalking Dogs ~ Daddy's Playhouses ~ Erika/Spencer/Joyce/Wade ~ Trottole Pasta Dinner

Good sunny 48º morning. Boy, got really windy yesterday afternoon into evening!

PICTURE of the DAY.... wow... riding in a military helicopter!

This came from George Bachmeier.... so cute... "moonwalking dogs" !!!

My pal Tammy (Sideways mom) down in Modesto loved the playhouse in the picture of my Dad and I.... Daddy built it. Then it was moved to my sister's house in Santa Ana and when they moved it remained.   :o(

But, Daddy built one for Kristen and put a fort on top for Brian!  (Daddy with my Lucy girl)

Some of my friends are celebrating today... Erika and Spencer, down in La Crescenta Ca, are celebrating their 52nd anniversary. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY KIDS!!!!

... and Joyce Krueger, works at my vet's office, is celebrating her birthday today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOYCE!!!

....and my pal Liz Duncan (LASD Sgt), her little guy Wade is 9 years old today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY WADE!

Historically this date...

1898 – The United States Navy Hospital Corps is established.
.... or as the jerk in the White House would say... United States Navy Hospital Corpse!  such an idiot. educated? HA!

1933Union Station Massacre: in Kansas City, Missouri, four FBI agents and captured fugitive Frank Nash are gunned down by gangsters attempting to free Nash.

1987 – With the death of the last individual of the species, the Dusky Seaside Sparrow becomes extinct.

1994 – Following a televised low-speed highway chase, O.J. Simpson is arrested for the murders of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman

And births this date include....
1943Newt Gingrich, American politician and author

1943 – Barry Manilow, American singer-songwriter and producer

1960 – Thomas Haden Church, American actor

Dinner was GREAT.... I cooked some Trottole pasta

and cut up a bunch of veggies; carrots, celery, green onion, broccoli, sweet peppers, and scraped corn off two cobs....and threw in some fake crab and a drained can of diced tomatoes....
Cooked pasta and sauteéd all veggies and crab, just til heated.
Added in my favorite garlic seasoning and a jar of Roasted Poblano Alfredo Sauce..

Chopped up some fresh basil and tossed that in...

Creamy and crunchy..... OMGOOD!!!

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Monday. Ciao.

The folks ahead of me said what I was going to say! LOL What a great and talented dad you had! Lucky you, Kristin and Brian! How adorable was that!! He could have gone into the building playhouse business.

You dinner looked absolutely scrumptious! Love Alfredo sauce. Bet you will have leftovers for awhile. mmmmm breakfast! I like that better than the strudel!

Savin' the leftovers for dinner.. .will have a big salad for "brunch" with veggies and hardboiled eggs.

My dad and my Jerry were a lot alike! Guess that's one of the reasons I married him! xo
