Pond-Dude ~ First Bites ~ Marion ~ Brian ~ KC & Shelly's Infuzed Express ~ Jeannie Bill & Chaka

Good 46º raining full moon morning. Be careful out there!

The kids (Maggie and Dude) and I took a golf cart ride up to the back of my property where the guys are trimming the undergrowth in the BLM. Chatted with a couple of them. Then to the pond to check it out...

Dude jumped out and he ran all the way back to the house. He loves doing that!

If you like kids, this video is sooo cute! Kids tasting foods they have never tried before... icky, some of them  ... anchovy, pickled onion, etc....  I just sat here and smiled! I remember taking Kristen when she was about 2 or 3 to a buffet in Pasadena often. She sat in her highchair facing the line of people coming in. I'd give her a piece of lemon and she kept the whole line entertained with her faces. Wish I had film of that~!

People, I am so tired of hearing about the Swartzeneggers, Oprah (will be glad when she finishes her last show!), Lohan, and "Obama exploring his Irish roots". GAG. I guess I really hoped my Irish side had some bright folks, but after seeing the news how the crows in Ireland fawned and cheered over BO, I almost threw up!

Thank goodness Sheen and Jessie James are fading out. What idiot next? Hmmmm..... cranky this morning are we? Yes.

And today that idiot Lohan is STILL in the news!

My heart just goes out to the folks in Joplin Missouri. What tragedy and sadness. Unbelievable destruction. I cried watching the news. Think they'll be askin' for food stamps and new TV's and trailers to live in, forever! ? I doubt it. Pathetic some of the folks in this country. Sit on their big fat asses and hold their hand out and never once do anything to contribute. Ok ok ok... off the

Nine years ago today my sister Marion passed away. She was an awesome sister and my best friend. She died from adult onset Leukemia at age 69, two months before her 70th birthday.

Yesterday I was going to have my car washed, but changed my mind. It always rains when I do that and since it was predicted for this weekend's Boatnik celebration I am holding off. Stopped in at Brian's office to take him the USMC hat and pick up VIP tickets for the Boatnik, free parking and free beer/wine tickets. Yippeeee....

Then to Infuzed Express.  http://www.infuzedrestaurant.com/   Shelly and KC who were part of The Mediterranean restaurant we loved so much are now operating a 'drive through' restaurant. Soon to have gazebos for outside dining...

Shelly and "Knotty" Gnome....

You can read their menu on their link. I ordered sweet potato fries, the 'Lost Coast' (salmon slider with spinach, mushrooms, garlic, tomato, red bell pepper all sauteéd in white wine), a pizza wrap with garlic 'infuzed' pesto - pepper jack cheese - bacon-chicken-& bell pepper, and cilantro potato salad. I took these treats to Bill and Jeannie's. We gobbled them down! Everything OMGOOD! Goin' back for more~!

Played with Chaka and took a few pictures before heading back home to my brood...

Jeannie was hiding! Their yard is so pretty and that tree is so interesting!

The 'funny' greeting at their gate..... (yes!)

All I know. Nuff said. Happy TGIF. Ciao.

Fun day yesterday, and again, thank you! Big thanks for not posting some of those pics. You were busy snapping away with "Knotty".
Great to see Shelly's picture, and the food was fantastic. Can't wait to try more!
Great picture of Brian, and a big Thank You to him too!!!
Priscilla Presley, I thougt, use to be really pretty, and then she started the plastic surgery stuff and destroyed her look. Sad.
Wonderful tribute to your sister Marion. I'm sure 9 years seems like yesterday to you. Cute pictures of the two of you.
That video with the kids is funny. Some of the food they were sampling, I would have made some icky faces too!
That is great Dude loves to run like that. Reminds me of Chaka. Pretty soon he will look at you and try to tell you "let's go, time to run".
Okay enough of my ramble, have a wonderful day and we will chat later. xo

Oh I loved the video of the kids tasting. Too funny! Loved the little girls with the olives in her mouth, I think she decided she liked them. :)
Loved seeing your pond and the Dude running.
One can tell that you were very close and loved sister dearly. She looked like she could have been your mom.

Darling pic of Brain. He's sure a good looking guy.

Your food for lunch looked scrumptious and loved the photos of Jeannie and Bill and their landscape. What an interesting tree they have. What is that?

No way could I look at the snails! NEVER will one pass these lips either! I always think of all the Snarol we have used over the years! :(
Good blog!!!
