The Great Flydini ~ Tree Cat ~ Caramels w/ Sea Salt

Good 47º very cloudy and rain predicted morning. Rained on and off yesterday and last night. We got 1/2".

The following from my traveling pal, Pat Kelly... if you love Steve Martin...this is hilarious.

Speaking of Johnny Carson.... er, kind of, Jay Leno will no longer be the Tonight Show, it will be given over to Jimmy Fallon. Grrrrrrrrrrr....... and moved from Burbank to New York. I put Fallon in the same group as Letterman... Obama supporters! UGH. Oh and add Jimmy Kimmel to that group too! I want Johnny back. He was the BEST!

PatT stopped on her way to the airport yesterday to drop off some Jackson Co Republican Women's membership stuff. I will "stand in" for her as Membership Chair at the meeting next week. She is off to Washington DC to visit her son. He's in a government position ... he'd have to kill us if he told us anything. Would love to sit down and have a beer with him!!! Alas, but then I'd be dead. Sigh......

Maggs and I went to the gate to make sure it was open for Pat and Mr. Bruiser decided to show off in the tree... glad I had my camera.

All I know. Nuff said. Hope I get my lawn mower back soon. Oh well, with all the rain I can't mow anyway! Ciao.

Some of my favorite caramels I got at the Mercantile in Jacksonville, Or. They had sea salt in them! OMG GOOD!

What a great list today. Steve Martin- who doesn't love his comedy. Gregory Peck was an elegant man who elevated every project he was associated with- I hope my conservative friends forgive that he was not "one of us".

I understand the controversy of Colin Powell- but respectfully disagree with your conclusion.

I am reading Steve Martin's book BORN STANDING UP, on Kindle. I am at the part where he talks about how talented Johnny Carson was!!!

Love T and G!

I feel the same way about Colin Powell as you do. What a shame that he supports that destroyer of everything good in America.
