OMG Sue! My heart hurts for you! I am so sorry. Was he sick or was it just old age? She did live a good, loved and comfy long life. I know how much he was loved. He was a lucky little kitty to have you for a mom. Glad you have Bruiser and Maggie.

Harley was just plain old, 22 years, and his mind was sometimes in another place, other than the present, his kidneys were failing, he was feeble and I didn't want him to suffer. He needed to go to a happier easier place. He will always be in my heart and hopefully will be at the Rainbow Bridge. xo
Sue: I'm so sorry about Harley, but what a wonderful long life he had. Our pets take up such a huge part of our hearts - they are such dear loving creatures. I have lost many over the years but I know they'll all be there to greet me with meows and barks when my turn comes. I'm so glad you have Bruiser. Val
We are so sorry to hear that Harley passed away. I hope he just went to sleep and is in heaven with Jerry. Cliff said he was so glad he got to hold him and love him when we were there last. I'm sure you will all miss him but it was time for him to go even though it is not easy for you. At least you have Brusier to help with the loss.
Our heartfelt sympathies as you mourn the loss of Harley, who seemed to be your true and faithful companion. Surely, he will be missed by you and his other companions in your home. Of course, he was loved and cared for quite well to have survived twenty-two years in our world. Obviously, he chose wisely in using up his nine lives.

I firmly believe that he's at the rainbow bridge right now, young, happy and healthy, playing with all the other beloved pets who are waiting patiently for those they loved to join them one day...and years here are but as moments there. My prayers are with Harley -- and with you, too.
WOW nearly 22 yrs old, that is a LONG time. Quite a life he led. A full and happy one. It is us that suffers the loss while he is out of whatever pain he may have been in. His buddies Maggie and Bruiser will help you through. RIP Harley.
