A Little Sun ~ Me & Him ~ Chicken Wings & Pasta ~ Dog Walking

Good cloudy 37º gloomy morning. Sun did come out about 2pm yesterday...

First let me say I thoroughly enjoyed all the comments re yesterday's blog. You guys are awesome! Thanks!! xo This came from Trish via her hubby John (Bowler .. LASD ret) if you missed the Paul Harvey commercial re "So God Made A Farmer" during the Super Bowl.. makes you proud, brings a sentimental tear... reminds me how much my Darling loved his Dodge Ram!

Today , 48 years ago, I married Kristen and Brian's dad, George Pendleton, in the Chapel of Roses in Pasadena. Lots of promise. Two perfect children. Nine years. Then the drugs that had bit him took over and all was almost lost. We came out of it. I met and married Jerry in 1975. I am blessed. My children are wonderful and so are their children. George's great loss.

Dinner... Jen gave me most of the leftover hot wings from Sunday's spread. She liked them, but Brian and the kids won't eat spicy. I took the meat off all the bones, cooked up a pot of Archer Farms Creamy Parmesan & Mushroom Radiatore. (got it at Target, but Amazon soon to get it in)

You make it by cooking the pasta then adding the seasoning packet, some milk (only had cream), & butter. I added garlic. When the chicken was all mixed in and heated I dished it up and drizzled on some more buffalo wing sauce (with melted butter) ... OMGOOD!!!!!

THEN I get this from an old high school pal, Mary (Fancher) Zavala.....
This is just about the CUTEST thing you have ever seen!

That dog walking photo absolutely made both Gerry and my day.

I don't mean to be rude and dismiss your first wedding - but I clicked on the link to the story about the couple on the Titanic and it sounds so romantic. Like you and Jerry!
