Summit Mess ~ Bobcat Rescue ~ Alfredo, Tom, Frank & Cindy ~ Breakfast Saute

Good 39º dark and cloudy and windy all night morning.

The Bruise is back. Came yesterday afternoon. Happy everytime he returns. He likes to sleep by my head next to the headboard. He is so close I can hear/feel his soft purring. Whatta guy.

I had trash can duty this past weekend. Take 'um out on Sunday and bring 'um back on Monday.... mine, Frank & Cindy's, and PJ and Dave's....

The summit is a mess. As of yesterday morning still nothing moving up there.... here are three pictures, Sat Sun & Mon

Historically this date...
1916World War I: Paris is first bombed by German zeppelins.

1936 – The first inductees into the Baseball Hall of Fame are announced.

1963 – The first inductees into the Pro Football Hall of Fame are announced.

1979 Brenda Spencer kills two people and wounds eight at the Grover Cleveland Elementary School shootings.
WOW.... whack job! And only 17 years old at the time.

And births this date include.....
1913Victor Mature, American actor (d. 1999)
... and as my high school pal Adelle (Easton) related to me her dad was an officer on a Coast Guard ship and Mature was one of his underlings. When he had given Mature an order and someone said, "Don't you know who that is??? It's Victor Mature!" Del's dad remarked, "Mature, manure, I don't care what his name is!"

1918John Forsythe, American actor (d. 2010)

1942Claudine Longet, French singer and dancer
no recent photos of this beauty... she must be shy...

1944 – Katharine Ross, American actress

1945 – Tom Selleck, American actor, screenwriter and film producer
.... interesting read.... my sister knew his family. They had a place at Tahoe and she said they were the NICEST family!

1960 – Greg Louganis, American diver

1970 – Paul Ryan, American politician

All I know. Nuff said. Taking my computer into Turk so he can take a look at it and figure out why it's so danged slow.

That Bruiser is such a cruiser!! Stay home where you have it good!

I wonder if Claudine Longet doesn't want to be recognized? She sort of dropped off the face of the earth after she killed Spider. Wasn't that his name?

I love anything with cabbage!!!!!!!

Spider Sabich? Sounds like, but not sure of spelling.

Happy birthday to your friend Tom!

Tom Selleck has redefined how "senior citizen" looks. The Selleck family is as nice as advertised):- Courteous, generous, polite. Someday I hope to have permission to elaborate... until then... their are people who not only deserve privacy- they've earned it. Even from journalists they don't know are in the room- just lucky to watch. Rich and famous does not always equal either spoiled or ill-mannered.

Never thought of that cabbage dish for breakfast- you never fail to inspire.
