Yesterday was a run to Medford to see my back doctor. Said everything from x-rays looks fine. Pins and rods all in place and nothing moved. He wants me to have physical therapy or do the exercises in the booklet he gave me. I'll do the booklet stuff. Then to the post office to pick up a package, and the drug store for wrapping paper.

The Scottish came out in me again and I canned the tomato juice that came from cooking the tomatoes for the marinara. I used to leave it in with the tomatoes and just cook it down. Now, that I have discovered it's so tasty (tomato, onion, garlic, olive oil) I like to put it in my vegetable smoothies.
Yessiree bob, mix some of the tomato juice, ice, spinach, celery, carrots, a little flax seed, and you have one good refreshing healthy drink!

Late afternoon off to Brian and Jen's for Tucker's birthday....

Here is a picture minutes after Tucker's birth in 2004...

and yesterday..................

Jen had a beautiful dinner of fresh green beans, perfectly cooked steak, crab legs, cut up fresh veggies with her 'famous' ranch dressing. Then it was cheesecake for dessert! Wow.

Presents were opened, with a gift cert to play golf from former neighbors Carol and Neil, a new wood club, lots of Leggo stuff, and night vision goggles from Bobo!

I am going to make a Smilebox and post it later....

Great birthday for our boy. Saturday will be his Harry Potter birthday party with his friends. Should be fun!

Historically this date....

Oh that birthday dinner looked soooo yummy! The steak looked so perfect and juicy. Loved those kinds of green beans. Whole and fresh.
Love love the photos of Brain holding Tucker. So sweet and funny compared to the one yesterday.

Yup when I watch the new Dallas I wonder WHY makeup does DO something about Hagman's awful eyebrows!
hmmmmm Just when I typed that name it occurred to me that our Assemblyman is Curt Hagman! Wonder if they are related!

I too like Nancy Travis. She seems to always have a sweet look on her face.

Happy cookie baking!!

cookies? did you say cookies? Lucky Tucker, to have a grandma who bakes cookies.

Working this morning, so did not get to pay my respects to the Space Shuttle. Watching this past lap on TV is like watching a funeral procession. So much of our economy is driven by what was learned building it- much of what could now build our economy lays dusty on a bench since our space program has been outsourced.
