Sun! ~ Sharpen Knife w/ Coffee Mug ~ Turkeys Geese ~ Spring Flowers ~ Idiot Drivers ~ Black Rice w/ Veggies

Good 38º very foggy morning.... with snow predicted!! Whaaa??? No, if the temps go up, but it's 90% chance of rain. It was 68º yesterday and sunny! It was awesome. Everyone was out soaking up that Vitamin D. There were Harleys everywhere. Scoot ridin' day fo sure! The beginning of the day looked like this..

and.... by later afternoon it was clouding up again...

When I came home from a day of shopping (fun) I opened up all the doors for about an hour. Ahhhhh, fresh warm air!

All the critters were out yesterday... the 'boys' showin' off... and Mr. Woodpecker enjoying a free meal..

Here is an interesting video... thanks Ben Hunt for this. Sharpen a knife with the bottom of a coffee mug! Cool!

I took this picture in town when I made a stop at my dentist to pay my bill...

Spring... ya think? And at my house.... up against the trees the daffodils are breaking out..

On my way back home I was behind this no-drivin' idiot who was doing 18mph in the 25mph zone and  in the 35mph zone...

Then he increased his speed to about 40mph in the 45 zone and went through the high school 20mph zone without slowing down! Oh for a blinky blinky and a ticket book!

Dinner was black rice, chicken/broccoli Rice A Roni, carrots that were cooked in lots of garlic powder and white pepper, sweet peppers, and broccoli... All cooked in the rice cooker...

Sooooo good! Going to have more for breakfast! I was never more happy with food then when I was in Greece... they serve tomatoes with every meal..raw or cooked. I was a happy camper!

A bunch of my friends are in Laughlin for the annual LASD Roundup. Almost 900 are participating this year. Such fun for them all to get together again. Next year I'm goin'!!

Late in the day all the turkeys were out in the pasture, the geese flew over and said hi as I pointed my camera at them, and Harley was napping in my chair...

All I know. Nuff said. Happy Tuesday. Ciao

Sue,
Loved the knife sharpening video! Every now and then John collects all the important knives and takes them to be sharpened. I just emailed him the video and said no more spending money on sharpening! :):) Cool!

Yea, we could have been in Laughlin right now but since John took care of business before hand he left the decision up to me to go or not. I could tell he really didn't care one way or another so I decided we really didn't need to go. Next year to be sure!!

XO Trisha

Yes, the knife sharpening sounds good to me too, although I have an electric sharpener. Jerry was a knife nut ... so we had all the accoutrements (or as he would say, "accou-tra-mon") to keep them sharp and happy. xo

Alec Baldwin just announced his engagement to his 28 year old yoga instructor. Didn't say it- but I suspect he likes her "flexibility" ):-

Your geese are more interesting than that tidly-bit. But thought you would get a laugh.

Oh L, you are funny. He's twice her age, so this is a feather in the old guys cap. As for Miss Flexibility.... she's lookin' at $$. You know, they have sooooooo much in common! LOL xo
