Good 28º very very foggy morning! Had some rain yesterday... 11/100ths of an inch. 70% chance of snow was predicted, but never appeared.

...... and a note from my friend Joe Kirk (LASD ret.)
"There is less than a year until election day when the people will decide who will be the next President of the United States.
The person elected will be the president of all Americans, not just the Democrats or the Republicans. It's a time that we all need to come together, Democrats and Republicans alike, in a bipartisan effort for America:
If you will support the Republican nominee, please drive with your headlights ON during the day.
If you support Barack Obama, please drive with your headlights OFF at night.
Together, we can make it happen."
YEAH!!!

"My" geese have returned.... YEAH!
The sat on top of the barn, honking. I went out and called them to have some cracked corn...
I'm excited because they respond to me when I call, "Hi goosie goose.... Hello goosie goose." Appears to be one male and two females. The male usually stands back while the female eats. Thinking this may be one of their off-spring.
Dinner last night....
I didn't use the broccoli slaw. Will fix that with some chicken tonight.....
Sauté mushrooms, asparagus, and tomatoes in a little olive oil...
Add the soba noodles, flaked (imitation @ only $3) crab, the sauce mix that comes with the noodles, 1/3 cup water, and I drizzled on some spicy soy sauce and a bit of sesame oil....then stir well and heat through....
Some mighty fine eats!
Went out to take a picture of the sunset and saw the geese still hanging out and a few deer...

Tell "your" geese HONK for me.
Good joke. Made me feel like a fish because I fell for it" hook, line and sinker!
Hook line and sinker, eh? Boy,you are easy first thing in the morning! LOL. xo
Remember when we went to Carol's and we would start in Covina going as fast as we could get that little car going, but by the time we reached half way up Kellog Hill, the Semi's were passing us. We would be screaming all the way for it to go faster, like that would help....
I know it's you, Sandy, even though you didn't put your name on the comment. I was thinking about that very same thing going up Kellog Hill and we would be in the truck lane going slower than the trucks. Yes, funny memories! What year was your Renault?
