'BC' ~ Food and Friends ~ National Cabbage Day

Good 42º morning. No radar yet, but 80% rain predicted and snow tonight. We'll see...

Yesterday, in the day time (unusual, as he always showed up before in the dark) the feral cat, "BC" (Black Cat) returned! I had not seen him, nor had any of the food in the back of the golf card disappeared since the Saturday before the Super Bowl. He's been out and about. I thought for sure he was dead. So, when I saw him I got a can of cat food and took it out. He panicked and ran into the trees. I called him several times and left the food. He came back as soon as I came inside...

I had to take these pictures through the darkened glass door and the screen...so not too clear....
It will take a while for him to accept me and not be scared. I am so happy he's back and safe!

Yesterday I had errands in town. Went to the bank with a bucket of change and got $101.00 deposited into my account!

Wow. I still have some more. They only have the counting machine at the Grants Pass branch, not here in Rogue River. Anyway, then saw Brian (Brian Pendleton State Farm, Grants Pass, OR

Stopped in at GP Motors to check on the status of my 1990 Harley for sale. Ken told me he just heard of a shooting in town...
Thankfully with all the police action and investigation and hunt for suspect, it didn't impact any traffic where I had to go!

....And then to the Kitchen Company to buy a deviled egg/pie carrier with a gift card I had.

I met up with 'the gang' at Taqueria Mexico at 4.

We decided to get together before Jeannie and Bill head out to California/Arizona for a couple months. Before Dee and Dale head to CA for a friend's memorial. And before Joe and JoAnn head back to the coast.

Their margaritas are BIG and good and the food is GREAT!

National Cabbage Day

•Cabbage is considered Russia's national food. Russians eat about seven times as much cabbage as the average North American.

Let's have some fish tacos with cabbage slaw!

Oh wait, I did that already ... last night!

Sue,

Enjoyed the pics of restaurant, especially those wonderful chairs. My Bauer Pottery would go with them soooo well as well as my old Mexico serving dishes. The food plates made me drool. Could almost smell the seasonings. Nice.

Cute too the way you went around and took photos of their plates. You sure do make us hungry in the mornings!

p.s. Did I mention that I love this new "comment" set up! I don't have to click it three times anymore! Once does it! However, the last couple of days the codes are weird! Dark and hard to read.
